I’m interested to know what you shot the B-roll on?
Does it have unlimited video recording feature?
Just bought the camera but am struggling to pair it via Bluetooth and WiFi?
What kind of Tripod are you using please because I'm looking to get one
Thanks for the review.
Nothing on a coming "FZ2000 / 2500 mark II", "G3 X mark II"?
Would like to see other videos on... to compare the FZ1000 M2 with :
No touch screen?
What camera shoot this video
Any idea where I can get a written guide/book for this camera?
bull shit fucking 400mm. Nikon p1000 has 3000mm tele lence.
When I spotted the phrase "hands-on review" in the search results, I immediately picked this video because I was expecting *MUCH* more than just showing a couple of nature stills and a product sitting on a tripod. A big disappointment.
Hello and thanks for The video
Can you tell me if theres too much differences in between the FZ2000 model?
Except the zoom I don’t see anything else...
Which one do you recomend to an all around travel use?
Is there any heavy reason to choose one or another?
FZ2500 II when?
What was this filmed with?
I understand that there is 2 nd filters built into the camera but Panasonic does not make any mention of this feature. Can you confirm this feature is available or not. I use then HC-X1and find the ND filters very useful
Is the vid good for musician vids?
Harsh colors, lack of sharpness (especially when zoomed in), a lot of visible noise - all this makes the footage from this camera really unpleasant. Impressive zoom is the only positive side of this cam.
What is with the loud operating noise which was at the fz1000?
Does it have a microphone input?
The few improvements do not justfy spending that extra £300 over the mark 1 version in my opinion. No weather sealing!!
I love my FZ1000!
This was such a disappointment, not a real upgrade at all, you don't mention any new features at all!
Pathetic review, reading advertising brochure really.
Note: YouTube Live for some reason missed off the first 20-30 seconds of the video.
A big shoutout to Clifton Cameras where I purchased this camera, superb service, a link to their website is in the video description.
Does it have unlimited video recording feature?
Is there any video time limit while recording video? E.g. 30 mins or 40mins ?
I just bought an FZ1000 M2 yesterday before seeing this video in May of 2020. And, I agree about DSLRs with interchangeable lenses. I've had many and did change out lenses more than most people but still I had to carry around a heavy backpack with all that glass. The drudgery of having a fancy camera (Nikon D500) with multiple lenses actually turned me off to photography as it almost seemed like work and not fun. I sold all my gear over a year ago and took some time off. But, I've made the decision to jump back in...but with a bridge camera like the Lumix. Thanks for your review.
We have same camera Sir
Hi to you. From Philippines
Please excuse me ,because I'm watching this video over a year after you first recorded it. However, that aside, I'm struggling to think of the point Lumix were trying to make with this camera! From what I can make out, it has pretty much the same features as my FZ330, plus my camera has a 25 - 600mm zoom. What the FZ330 doesn't have of course, is the 1" sensor that this has, so that might make some difference.
Good evening sony a6400 is much better than this panasonic or not quite ... I just wanted to make some videos at home and some landscapes videos. Thanks.
If I were to place my wishlist for FZ1000 Mark3 features (should it ever arrive), it would contain: (1) some level of weather sealing, and (2) a dual memory slot, so that I could assign a much more expensive UHS3 memory card to storing video only. However, given the 5 years we had to wait for Mark 2, these wishes might be much outdated by 5 years from now.
The upper limit of 400 mm zoom might not be an astounding value these days, as my pocket-sized Sony HX90V features 30x (750 mm I think). In rea life though, 30x is very difficult to handle handheld. Your breathing, your tension to make a perfect photo, might cause wobbling beyond the capabilites of image stabilization, if not losing your object from viewat all. Therefore I would say 400 mm is a very reasonable limit point and will give you a lot of creative options anyway.
Please suggest me between FZ2500 and FZ1000 II. Though FZ2500 is 3 years old release but still seems to have more features and value for money. Thanks.
Hi, which camera would you recommend purely for video use (Mostly outdoor). The fz1000ii or the Sony ax53?
How does the Panasonic's stabilisation and autofocus compare to the Sony?
Is the image quality better than the FZ1000 and the FZ2500
Is this a successor to FZ2500?
Нахуй такой обзор?
Где зум? Где снимки?
Хуйта, просто болтает дохуя, примеры где?
Hi, does this charge in camera? And can you charge whilst using it? Thank you, keep up the good work :)
Why not just get the FZ2500? It has built-in ND filters & a larger zoom.
Hello Sir. Please tell me how you can compare stabilization system in this camera against GH5 and G9 ?
Would you recommend this for home studio work YouTube etc?
Between zv1 and lumix 1000 mark 2 which one do u recommend? I am not a vlogger i care about vidio and immage both in 4k.? Thank you
Is this or the FZ2000 the better camera?
In general what’s your pick out of the lumit fz2500 and the fz1002?
Thankyou great info stay safe
Panasonic should sponsor ya Graham all the work you do testing their products
Not sure why would someone pay the extra $$$ for M2.
pls, someone tell me why.
Honestly there is no point in upgrading, my fz1000 works fine!!!
Can you control the camera - to take pictures or video - from your phone?
Can you replace the lens
I have really enjoyed my FZ1000, and find it great in many areas. My biggest complaint is the fact that it can only record 30 min of video at a time and then the recording stops. From your silence on this subject I am guessing that this is still true with the new version?
Is the FZ1000 good for vlogging ?
Whats the size of the hood for the lens
Hi Graham Houghton,
Thank you for your detailed review. I am very interested in the Lumix FZ10002 / Mark ii. I will be grateful if you would tell me:
1. what type of the shutter is equipped in this camera (well, I do not find the information of shutter type in the user’s manual which I downloaded from web site!)? This is a ‘leaf shutter’ or ‘focal plane shutter’?
2. Can I use ordinary external TTL flash (the flash is not support high speed sync function) at a shutter speed of 1/4000, since fill-in flash in day time is so important for me?
I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon. Thank you!
Another great review, I have used Panasonic cameras now since my first FZ38...I find your videos so helpful....I am a G9 user, but wish to also add a bridge camera to my kit, I used the original FZ1000 prior to moving up to G9 and It was a wonderful camera... I am now torn between the new FZ1000ii and the FZ2000...my question is, as image quality is my main priority.... Which do you think I should go for? Many Thanks Graham..... !
Graham that’s a really kool jumper you’re wearing . May I ask where you bought it ?
Just bought FZ 1000 ii, so more on this please.
Hi Graham, Your video is so good way to teach how to use Panasonic. Can Lumix FZ1000 II be fitted with Telephoto DMW-LT55 1.7x?? Thanks.... Nelson from HK
Does lumix fz1000 ii have unlimited video recording feature?
Good review, but I am puzzled and disappointed at the absence of exploration of macro photography capability.
If you’re saying there is virtually no difference whatsoever in video or photo quality, then you believe that the feature rich improvements are well worth the $300.00 up charge the Mark ii costs over the standard fz 1000? Excellent videos you produce. By far the very best on You Tube. Thanks much. Cheers.
I bought this camera from your review. Great video! ALL of your videos are great videos! However, you didn't mention the microphone issue that hangs around this camera, involving the IOS noise! Though I did find a solution for this: https://youtu.be/8LgxzrIuyww
It's been a while since you posted this video. Do you think the FZ 1000 might be an entry level camera at this point? Is it still worth purchasing? I am shooting from a smartphone - Huawei p20 pro currently, but would like more for my efforts
Why does he it's bigger brother the GH4 the GH4 is smaller than the FZ1000 🤨
You son of a bitch always use for poser didmt shoe us quailty
What settings do you recommend for shooting night videos of Halloween and Christmas decorations?
F ZED...not F ZEE?????
So you can't turn the sounds off completely it doesn't make sense you should be able to no?
So it's 2020 if I can get one for under $400 still think it's worth messing around with opinions appreciated
This guy is the talking head for Dpreview now.
I'm writing about a six year old review. But the FZ1000 is still on the market, which speaks well for the camera.
One question your review didn't answer for me...will the camera do time exposure stills, and if so for what durations?
Man you know if this guy is saying something is good, its GOOD! He is usually very very harsh!
@7:20 heavy traffic
Do you think is good option in 2020
“Amazingly I found colour in Alberta” lol. Makes no sense.
nice easy review great ill get one on new future
fz2500 vs gx85
Hi... ....my name is Nicholas,my home country is bangladesh.....I like your video.
Its been long but i am searching for something with a larger lens like this one alongwith 1inch sensor so what r my options now a days? Budget is max 600.
I would love if it can do a bit of astronamatography. (a bit of good like capturing milky way ina good way)
