In low light conditions a tripod would do wonders! I guess that's valuable for all the cameras.
Please can you tell me how to add the date stamp when I take my photos. Thank you.
I am grateful for this video. I just recently bought one and I think that it was worth it esp after listening to you. From Australia!
Thanks so much for the info! This is the best review YouTube channel I’ve found, as your honest! Thanks from Australia 😊
Thanks Borat!
Does it have an external audio input? Please reply
Does it have a mic output? Thanks
Which one do you prefer this one or the Canon SX540 ?
Nice review. Thanks.
what you choose for landscape photo if you have fujifilm XA3 or lumix gf9? because i want to buy on of them but i am still confusing
nice review thanks
Very hard to understand this chaps English as he speaks very fast and has a strange accent
great video. how fast is the autofocus on TZ80?
Hello , am having a problem with my Panasonic dcm tz80 camera
Any good for filming YouTube videos?
Right when you should the 4K pictures I bought it. So thank you for the great vid!
4k is only about 8.5mp though so you must lose some quality. Nice idea though.
Hi Dave, how is the saving after the burst of photo? Is it faster or it take a long time?
how does it work in low light with higher ISO though?
Is it true it is terrible in low light photos?
Thank you
hello is it good to records concerts?
The bad thing about the TZ80/ZS60 is the image quality loss created by Panasonic’s illogical choice of an almost outdated small sensor...because of the high resolution with a small sensor, low light performance is poor at best, and even under normal light conditions, the photos can be surprisingly noisy (tho close focus results are better than LX100). If you dont need the extra zoom capability, stick with the older LX100 with its larger MFT sensor for about the same price.
I have dust in lenses. Camera is nearly new. Lences are not tiaght.
It's Lumix!!!!!! Lol, not Lumex. 'Lou-mics'
I bought the Lumix TZ80 camera around October 2017 prior to going on our overseas holiday. After struggling with the minefield of technicalities and varying advice, I just drew up a list of basic criteria that I wanted in a compact camera, and set off to a local camera shop. After buying the camera (actually bought two; one for the wife) I saw a number of YouTube posts highly recommending the camera that I had bought. Great; I thought. The videos that I have taken have been less than satisfactory. In fact quite inferior to my Nokia Lumia 1020 mobile phone. Obviously the mobile phone doesn't have many of the features of the camera, but in many cases the results are better. The main disappointing aspect about the Lumix TZ80 is when attempting to pan either a moving object or just the surrounding scenery, there are two noticeable issues. One is a very 'jerky' and 'un-smoothe' movement in recording and playback. I guess I could be blamed, but it doesn't happen with my mobile phone. The other (probably related) issue is slowness of focus as you move the camera (even quite slowly) from one object to the other. Distinct blurring occurs every timeAny suggestions before I throw them both away?
Link to the tripod? I bought the camera!:)
Hey Mate! I have a couple of questions! 1) Can you use manual focus while filming? 2) Does the TZ80 have 1080p @ 60fps? - If not, does the Panasonic Lumix ZS60 have 1080p @ 60fps? Thanks for your help! Ben
does it have back flip screen to take selfie ?? lke canon g7x
how does it compare against the lumix TZ90/TZ70 or the lumix LX 10? i wanna start vlogging and im looking for a good camera with stabilisation, 4K and a flip up screen.
Wish that awful music level was lower so to understand what you are saying Eugene
Can it seriously only take 4k picture with burst and so on? Can't I only like take 1 single picture? I just want 1 simple 4K picture. Not 30 or 60 to choose from after pressing the button. I don't want any record thingy at all! Any tips? :)
not a sharp photo... not even 1
Все хорошо, только ничего не понятно х). Эх, пойду на русским искать обзор.
I took much prettier pictures with a camera i bought for 80 euros back in 2016. Canon powershot sx 500 is
Do you know if the TZ70 is better in low light than thenTZ80? Thanks for the quality review.
Brilliant review thank you.
Accent will kill someone
Can You tell which parts are made from metal, is it whole body magnesium like in tz-2 or tz-7? Thx
Very complete review. Very interesting.
I'm using the TZ80 for all my videos in my channel and it's very good for a basic user!!
This is the best review of this camera I have seen. Very detailed. 👍
How does it compare to Sony DSC-HX60?
hi i bought the same camera you r talking about but struggling to take 4k video or probably i didn't put the settings right. i record the video and played on tv but quality was no near by 4k. any solution many thanks in advance. i subscribed your Chanel if you kindly can give me the relative information and subscribe my Chanel for kids videos.
Pozdrav, trebam savjet. Nemogu se odlučiti između Panasonic DMC-TZ80 i Panasonic DC-FZ82. Amater sam što se tiče fotografiranja...
Good Camera, Zagreb looks better on those pictures then in my memories. Thanks for good review.
It possible lengthen exposure time?
Very good vlog.....no wishy washy storyline to start
Great points.that wobble in video was bad! I have a budget. And i can only buy lumix tz70,lumix tz80 or Sony hx90.what would you get?
Cao da li je moguce ukljuciti mikrofon? Hvala :D
nice and very practical. lots of info. covered most of things
Thanks for a comprehensive review, I am considering this TZ80 as a replacement for my TZ8. Any suggestions of similar replacement models with better image quality? And hopefully also RAW, Zoom at least 20.
Have you looked at the tz90 ?
Ahh Tenby, now it very well and often stand in that very spot by the hotel overlooking the beach. Watching the Lifeboat launch, either practice or for real, inside of the station is an epic vision, especially going down the launch ramp. We nearly bought a house in Tenby 13yrs ago in Picton Terrace just above the South Beach
Please can you show me how I can add a date stamp to all the photos I want to take with this camera. Many thanks
Is there an update of this camera (as this is 2 years old) or this is the latest model? (I am interested in a good 16mpx+ compact with viewfinder). Thank you :)
I bought this a couple of years ago (I'm very much an amateur), and this for an entry level camera is excellent. What's perhaps missing, and is something Panasonic could invest in, is video user guides for new users to make the most of the features. I had a professional photographer who I know recommend this and then walk me through the settings/functions, which was lucky - I would probably have reached the same conclusion as someone who had found it too complex or perhaps too "feature heavy" to use on a regular basis (or even sporadically to an acceptable standard). Having gated tutorials for beginners with the camera you've bought (gated as in "you've proved you're the buyer") would be an ideal way to "tie in" people to the Panasonic range and perhaps even (for people like me) to build trust in Panasonic by progressing up the range. Food for thought.
Just bought this today haha 😂
Hi, I bought a TZ80 recently but it's far too complicated for me, as I'm just a casual photographer. For example what's the red "motion picture" button for? Is "motion picture" just another word for videos? I notice that i can shoot vids with the shutter release button AND with the red button, which button should I use?
