@XxPietro99xX - They were on a liquid diet days leading up to the launch. From there they wore a condom type device that went into a tube and led to a holding tank.

IIRC: the USN surface Navy operates on sleep deprivation and caffeine. Four hours on watch, eight hours off and a full work day leaves you exhausted. It takes a long time to cross the Pacific Ocean at 9 knots. USS Tutuila ARG-4 1966. War really stinks. The mixture of blood, shit, gunsmoke and burning is unforgettable.
Interesting, though not as much as her many other terrific presentations. Wondering if within her writing she addresses haphemania, manifested by her compulsion to repeatedly touch and slightly twist the bottle of water beside her.
Love her approach to science, and topics that we have always wondered about but were never covered in school or books/events/videos/etc. Plus she's fun!

My main criticism is that on a talk about humans at war she spends the first 15 minutes talking about smells. Maybe it's just me but that's not particularly interesting.
