Ranjit, I use a water tanker for home with water TDS of 450 - 500. Even though it is safe, the water is fetched from the ocean and i know for a fact about the nearby plants and factories which send out the chemicals and waste to the water. the water also tastes bad. If i do not use RO, what other choice do i have. Also is it ok to have an RO with the mineral or alkanine boosters

So tds controller is another loophole in r.o . It simply bypasses the the filter chamber and adds direct unfiltered water to the filtered water to increase the tds level. Anyone can check it. There's lots of articles on it. So with tds controller you're basically drinking unfiltered water. Yes, the tds level will increase. R.o is not made to escape anything. Not even tds. So any r.o with tds controller means it's a faulty or morally incorrect way to increase tds. Nowadays there are mineral chambers found in r.o to naturally increase the tds. Don't know how effective that'd be. Also there are copper , believed to naturally increase the tds i guess. It's just the companies find loopholes and add another unnecessary add ons and market them as new feature. Indian government is Indian govt. They were clueless, are clueless and will always be clueless.
Two things. 1. There are some ROs, they say they are adding minerals like calcium, magnesium thro a special membrane and thus supply mineral water at the end. What is your finding on this,? 2. There are water cans like Acqua Fina, Bisleri, Team etc. Etc. Etc.supplying mineral water. What is your recommendation on this mineral water supplied ? Pl. Explain with proof. This is urgent. Ek no ka third class product hai, even insects enter in purifier such is the product kent.After few months, kent engineer will try to replace the filters inside without any reason and try to get money.

You don't need UV unnecessary, simple RO + UF would do. TDS till 250-300 you can drink without RO. Check Indian Water guidelines and WHO, TDS level.
This is a very useless water filter . I have spent more than its original cost but it is still a worthless machine . It has a faulty design . Company officials must take back all product . Mechanics know nothing on falt. They're working as trail and error method . Wastage of money .

@Tech Guide - You forgot to show the before and after measured value of water TDS. I believe it's one of the most important parameter when choosing a RO. Isn't it ?
Till 1 year whenever the technician visited he said that there is no problem in the purifier and everything is fine but soon after 1 year completed when i called for servicing then he said that the filters need to be replaced and it will costs approx Rs 5000 I personally ignored it and purchased TDS meter and found that my regular fresh water supply TDS is 125 whereas TDS in purifier was showing between 6-10. I wont recommend this purifier to anyone
