I'm still not clear about the number of fins other than enhanced surface area & faster heating. I feel for a 170 sq feet room, 11 wave fins heater should suffice at 2000w (without PTC fan) Please suggest.

Neither the quartz (rod) one nor the blower ones burn oxygen. It just heats the air in its vicinity and that propagates further. Burning is in when an 'angithi' or 'kanda' is burnt.

Par oil heater room zaada garam nahi kar raha hain even after 12hour non stop at full thermostat at 1500 watt level. Kya problem hi sakta hain. Oil heater naya hain2 din purana Extra info : upar fins touch kiya tha while running, zaada garam nahi laga. Lukewarm laga uppar ke fin.
