The true test of a quality protein powder is how it tastes and mixes with water. The best protein is nice and creamy in texture when mixed with water. In this regard, Optimum Gold Standard isn’t up to scratch. The king of protein powders mixed with water is Giant Sports Delicious Protein; nothing comes close. Runners up would be EHP Labs, Scitec 100% Whey and Muscle Nation. BSN Syntha 6 mixes up nice and thick but is loaded with carbs, so wouldn’t recommend it.

Optimum Nutrition is my favorite supplement brand. There's others that taste good but over all ON is the best to me. My pre-workout, protein to multivitamins are great.

I unfortunately ordered the Double Rich Chocolate relying on a post that said it was delicious. To my dismay it is actually pretty bad and wouldn't order it again in the future. Now I'm stuck with a 5lb. container that I really don't like. Anyone else try this flavor? Oh well....

Agh not a fan of ON's gold standard whey. I know its a classic haha, but just not a fan of the taste and well it blends. A better one imo is ghost whey. I think they have nailed most of the flavors they put out, especially the chocolate one, definitely better than others i've tried. But good review man, keep up the youtube grind!

I was not a fan of the chocolate peanut butter flavor. I used to use Dymatize iso 100, its a lot more gritty but the chocolate tasted legit, then I bough cookies and cream. That tasted like ranch dressing for some reason. 🤢
