The true test of a quality protein powder is how it tastes and mixes with water. The best protein is nice and creamy in texture when mixed with water. In this regard, Optimum Gold Standard isn’t up to scratch. The king of protein powders mixed with water is Giant Sports Delicious Protein; nothing comes close. Runners up would be EHP Labs, Scitec 100% Whey and Muscle Nation. BSN Syntha 6 mixes up nice and thick but is loaded with carbs, so wouldn’t recommend it.

In the past I have used both Vanilla Ice Cream and French Vanilla Creme, but I cannot recall which one I liked the most as I messed up their names. One out of these two was really sweet and nice. The other one was not that sweet, thus not giving me that vanilla taste I expected. Any ideas which one is the sweeter/better?
