Update 2: measured on both bpm connect and omron evolv. To be enought you have to use 2 systems to have a sort of feel that you can thrust a bit the BP benchmark values. The data values are average wise the same. I did a 3 run test on the withings bpm connect and the omron evolv. Bpm connect can do that with a custom setting. Evolv not. But pressing 3x times with a little break is not that hard. My biggest positive for the omron is its clumsy proof. If your doubting the pressure on your arms than the evolv wins. I had to use the evolv in order to have a trusty feel of fitting with the bpm connect. Software wise omron connects nice with Samsung health directly. Bpm connect not. Data wise I'm a freak so I like the more open structure of withings health app. And also it syncs via WiFi. Omron wins in my opinion on speed, fitting and trustworthy measurements. Withings bpm connect wins on software and WiFi connection. So 8/10 for withings bmp connect and 9/10 for the omron. Im still not sure if I'm returning the bmp connect.

I bought the OMRON Evolv last week based on your review. One (1) of the things I was looking for in a blood pressure monitor like this; is to have it Sync with ‘Samsung Health’ on my Android phone, and [it does]. But it won't Sync with OMRON's own app 'OMRON Connect'. It only did it once on my phone and once on my wife's phone and never again after that. I re ‘paired’ several times and checked all the settings over and over again, and it still won’t Sync. I like particular things about [both] apps and would like it if the OMRON Connect app would Sync with the monitor. Right now I have to enter everything manually in the Connect app’. Please advise. Thanks.
Do the apps automatically grab the data and upload it to the manufacturer?

I bought the Withings Connect. Also have an inexpensive Omron. I liked the Withings so much I also bought the bath scale and the smart watch. Now all my info in one app. Wish they made a blood glucose monitor.
I bought both. The OMRON evolve first then the WithIngs BP Connect.I bought the Withings due to my physician saying that a smaller cuff could give a false read but I since noticed that the withings gave back similar results as the OMRON. So it’s me. As far as price the Omron is now 59.99 at Bestbuy and the Withings was $100 but I was able to get it for $54 at bestbuy because of points. As far As the OMRON I feel the cuff is more rigid but It is easier and quicker to get on. The battery replacement is annoying though. Also you can delete no results in the Omron Connect app if you need to. The Withings I like for the cuff is adjustable and it’s compact and it’s is rechargeable. Also I like where the Withings automatically sends the results to the app where the Omron doesn’t. Overall both are great but I feel the Withings is the best one.
My arms are too big for either of these. I wish there was an option for a bluetooth bp monitors for people whos arms are bigger than 42cm.
Hi thanks for the video. One thing about the batteries vs rechargeable: I have a different model Omron that also takes batteries, but the batteries last well over a year taking BP once or twice a week so I don't really notice it. Plus I always keep a stockpile of AAs around anyway for remotes, flashlights, etc. How often do you need to do a recharge on the Withings?

WRONG! I bought the Withings product and was very excited. But the problems started immediately. The app would NOT download and install. I created an account on their website which sent me an email confirmation. I clicked the link and got an INVALID TOKEN TIMES! This is my 50th year in like this to a brand new customer is inexcusable. The cappers is that they have NO PHONE NUMBER so you can't talk to a live person. Their email promised a reply in 48 hours.5 days later, I'm still waiting. The monitor is on it's way back to Amazon for a full refund. Also look at the huge number of Amazon reviews regarding false readings. I cannot judge the product personally because it never worked. The concept gets 10/10, execution gets 0/10, the company completely sucks. I replaced it with the Omron and running in 5 minutes. Poifect. Kenny might be a good doc but he doesn't know tech the way us pros do. We know IP protocols, write the APIs and apps, and know the value of both process and rock-solid QA. On all those factors, Withings is a complete failure. Sorry.
The problem with the cuffs is that they are too small. I had to buy a leg cuff it is just large enough.
I bought the Withings and had to return it. It does not work. Many people are getting bad readings from this device if you search online. I went to my doctor with the actual device to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong and the readings were way off (always much higher). I tried resetting the device, re-installing etc etc. Same problem. While the Withings looks amazing, feels great, is very compact and well put together, it simply does not work. I am not obese nor do I have very large arms. The reviewers should always use a professional device to compare and try readings on multiple people. If you simply buy this device, install it and use it, yes it feels amazing. But it doesn't work.
Does sore muscles increase blood pressure? Typically my blood pressure is around 140 but after waking and testing my pressure after waking up with 0 stress and feeling calm my blood pressure popped up at 160 which makes 0 sense to me. I think it might be the monitor or something.
