You can wear enchanted with a darker pink liner to line your lips with, to avoid that washed out look.

Hello there! I personally prefer strawberry milk, it is one of my absolute favorites! Marrakesh pink, despite being a gorgeous color, is a bit dry and chalky when applied. So, I would definitely recommend strawberry milk :)
which do you like better, strawberry milk or the marrakesh pink? because i am torn between the both and this will be my first nyx lipstick ever so i really don't know. which do you prefer!? :) x
I had the same problem with Gala. It actually applied pretty smoothly to my hand (I tried to warm it up on the back of my hand) but even after that it looked kind of chalky. I just put a sheer pink gloss over it and it worked out okay.

I also found that gala was a bit chalky and didn't apply as smooth as the other shades. I also found that Marrakesh Pink was dry as well. At first I thought maybe my lips were just dry, but it seems as though many people are having this problem. What I do is apply a lot of moisturizing lip balm and dab on a small amount of gala with my finger and build it up in thin layers instead of putting it on straight from the tube. That seems to help it go on a bit smoother. :)
My lips are naturally RED so I have to put concealer on them or people will ask why I am wearing a red lipstick to school
