I go to the Gym regularly, Im a fairly medium skinny guy (65 kg / 143.3 pounds), and my hight is 1.8m. I cant seem to get the nice muscular body that I want and its really hard for me to gain weight. I eat a lot of meat, bread and vegetables but with little effect. I look athletic but still skinny, I want to weigh 80kg because all my friends who have muscles all weigh between 75 to 85 kg, so I figure its the most perfect weight to be in. why people always think that the protein amount is an indicator of how good a protein supplement is? these proteins are all spiked with free form aminos and nitrogen compound which are cheaper than actual quality pure unbound whey protein. youre basicaly paying for some unbound protein and some cheap free form aminos, which the companies hype up as anabolics and what not just to make you feel good about buying their bcaa spiked protein.

Anyone knows how to isolate pea proteins at home by removing starch and fiber?
Also one thing to keep in mind is 30g of whey protein powder has 24g of protein, whereas 30g of pea protein powder has 22.7g of protein. So per gram you’re getting less protein from the Pea. As long as you get enough protein there’s no difference between pea and whey, there’s nothing magical about whey. I’d say this study didn’t take this into account for the people taking the pea protein, so by default people consuming the pea were getting less protein per scoop which effected the outcome.

I bought a vegan blend (pea protein and rice protein). There is enough leucine to help the protein to built the muscle.
Nice. I bought a ton of pea protein and leucine supplement because they were on sale. Now I have a great feeling about the combo. I had my reserves on whether the leucine would be pointless

Whey protein messes my stomach up. Tried various types and its the same. Pea protein doesn't do that at all so I use pea protein instead.

The main problem with vegan protein as opposed to whey protein is that vegan protein doesn't contain all the necessary EAA's that whey protein does.
Will pea protein isolate spike insulin excessively please ? I guess not?
