this is MK2 not MK3! MK# 25 is better than MINI.

My 8 volume slider plus master slider isn't automatically getting mapped in ableton earlier it used to mapp automatically but after launchkey reset evrything is mapped automatically except volume slider
Just bought this for my 10yr old. I have to say, i have found it to be extremely difficult. I've got Ableton Live 10 installed. But I can not figure out how to get sound out of it. Any help?

aside from nto having a arp control (which isnt bad) it seems righteous. im told this isnt a plug-n-play so do u need a disk or anything 2 get started also im wondering how well can u use the drum pads in FL . right now im between this and the necktar impulse 25
Thought the keys have improved and moderation not that strong also pitch is more stronger I wouldn't like the pads to be a bit more responsive thought midi functions are not bad but also the fader is a thumbs up

Thanks for the review. Any idea how do you connect the Launchkey to newer android phones like OnePlus 7T which have only a Type C port and NO audio jack to listen to what you are playing ? In these phones, the headphones get connected to the Type C port so there is no place to connect the keyboard. Are there any USB C hubs with audio jack ? Are there any bluetooth earbuds with ultra low latency ?
I received a Launchkey 49 MK2 I am not getting sound from the keyboard its self what am I missing?

Soooooo how different is the Mutate/Deviate function of this compared to Akai MPC’s Generate Random Events and Humanize for creating variations for a piece of music? Thank you kindly. Almost ordered a Circuit Tracks just for this feature but realized the new MK3 keyboards have it too. Not that I NEED another keyboard, I pretty much just interested in the Mutate/Deviate functionality and at $109 this is an impulse purchase.

How can I, as a beginner in daw, find out how a midi works? Just by experimenting or? I think this keyboard is cool, however I haven't ever used Ableton so I wouldn't know how to link it right away. Only tried things out with FL Studio sometimes. What did you do as a beginner?

Just ordered this keyboard to get into recording music. Never done any recording, so I'm a bit intimidated, but I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun! I just know the basics of piano (I've played bass for over twenty years, so I'll need to get an interface soon, but the keyboard was on sale, and much cheaper than the Focusrite 2i2 and mic bundle I was looking at), so I'll basically be learning the instrument and the software. I know I've got a lot to learn, but I'm really excited for the road ahead!

well.i really dk. I am guitarist and a drummer. i just need simple thing and this is absolutely simple with huge daw controls. BUT its kinda small like a somebody help me pleaseeeee?
Excuse my ignorance but i ak a drummer hoping to ise such an awesome tool like this live. Does any manufacturers make such a sweet unit that has storage in it so "when" you laptop fails in a "live", post covid world the keyboard still has tones or voices within it. I realize there are keyboards out there but very few to none arw small and have drum pads.
"now i'm on instruments, but i can naviguate to drums." all drummers feeling insulted.
Does this come with the software to set everything? Or would I need to buy that separately?
