@ThoseTechGuys how is the 800 better in "every way" they both have exact same 1.4 GHZ processor with exactly same amount of RAM, the 800 just has a better camera and better plastics on the outside. stupaaaad

@irlju That's nonsense. Different editors have different opinions. In Josh's praise-filled review of the SGSII, he lauded many of TW4.0's features, which marked improvements over stock Android. Similarly, Joanna liked Sense 3.0 while Vlad thought it was "nonsense". It's not hard to find troll bait wherever you look-- as long as that's exactly what you want to see. Some people like customization. Might as well let them know WP7 doesn't have as much. If that's troll bait... okay?

@Rice9001 Microsoft has made it this way so everyone who gets a windows phone, no matter what device they use, will get the same feel and performance from each device and that wouldn't be the case of Manufacturers could tinker with OS and put there spin on it here and there and make it basically a different OS on every freakin phone and Apple does the same, just with the same hardware. So don't complain about one and not complain about the other if they are basically doing the same thing.
@YUPnNOPE you must have gotten a defective phone because Windows Phone doesn't usually act like that.
@SkywardDragonKing Yeah, I hate how dozens of manufacturers who make different iOS devices are forced to follow the same constraints. Wait... It's possible that people think it would have been nice if different manufacturers were able to better manipulate the interface, so as to allow for more variety. The iPhone, on the other hand, is made by all of one company-- who does style the interface as they want. But no, let's keep bringing the iPhone into a video that has nothing to do with it.
@jjrdias It takes a lot of logical fallacies to talk about an irrelevant product in a review about something else entirely. This is a review of a WP7 device, not an iOS one. Does iOS' lack of customization magically change the fact that WP7 doesn't have it? Of course not. My lawnmower doesn't have much customization but that doesn't somehow make it okay for WP7 not to have it either. Red herrings are fantastically effective in arguments, but that doesn't actually make them right.
Radar is definitely better this phone feels strange and like a toy, radar feels so gd in the hand
Thought I was all set on going with this but reports coming in that the radars camera is actually better esp in low light. Much better camera flash! which is impt to me. Id say overall the Radar is better. The slightly faster processor on this will not be noticeable enough.

This has to be the worst phone i`ve ever owned, the caller couldn't hear me properly, i tried the updates when prompted by nokia for mine, the wifes and the eldest child, three times it froze the phone(all three of us are on different networks). Had to send all three away to be fixed. The best bit about the phone, it smashed into about 30 pieces when i slung it at the wall. I only owned it for about five months. Awful phone indeed. DO NOT BUY THIS RUBBISH PHONE

I don't know how you get things works in your 710.. I just lost my Android phone and have 710 as backup and nothing is working.. no gps no internet no mail sync..
Dark Mode back in 2012 i had Lumia 710. Now dark mode has become main stream :P

If you do a factory reset you cannot get a windows phone to download any apps from the store as the servers are now off. I am sure experts can still find rar/zip files containing these apps somewhere online and install them somehow on a jailbreaked old windows phone, but I wish some one made a simple to use program that could make old windows phone devices useful again.

I loved the lumia os so clean and snappy plus functional too bad there wasn't much support.

This is a great phone. The camera is excellent, the typing on the screen is better than any phone I have had since (Moto G2, HTC One M9, LG G5). The GPS is fast strong connection and mostly reliable navigation with Nokia drive/here. The call quality was good, youtube was good (especially when you could turn the screen off and still play audio). Nokia Music with free songs was good, screen cast app was good (not sure what it was called but you could go on a certain http address on a PC, point your Windows phones camera at the bar code displayed on PC screen and it would cast a photo from your phone onto the screen without having to do anything else). Originally you could see how many ah your battery had left in settings. Windows Phone 7.8 update ruined it a little and volume wasn't as loud and some features removed (If yours is still Pre 7.8, keep it that way!). It was a strong design that didn't crack. Shame Windows Phone 7 didn't take off, it was a far superior platform to Android and the Lumia hardware was great. I still have mine and check it out from time to time.
The Lumia 710 was the very first smartphone that I wanted :) There was just something about it's aesthetic that appealed to me. But I decided to wait until my dumb phone broke (which took time) and finally decided to get a Lumia 920. Due to some twist of fate though, I ended up with a Lumia 1020, which I still use today as my primary phone. When this finally stops working (who knows when that'll be) I'll probably switch to a Xiaomi.

This was my first Windows phone. At the time of release it seemed so fast compared with my Nokia symbian phones. This replaced my Nokia C7. I left Symbian because Nokia had said they were stopping Symbian.

You should have reviewed here drive,maps,citylense... Those are groundbreaking apps developed my nokia still now..
