Nokia's sales figures are constantly declining. Nokia is not the market leader anymore. Many consumers are also unable to recognise good perfomance, especially because Nokia's target group is young and doesn't have much experience. Also, prices of Nokia phones are very low now - it might be their new policy to offer low quality for a low price. If you put a Nokia and a non-Nokia next to another, you'll feel the difference. That counts especially for non-smartphones.
send it back.the touch design is supposed to be that. mine was. I wouldn't be looking to upgrde from this to the newer asha if the touch part wasn't that. your phone is fucked
utter bollox .nokia are oneo9f the leading cell companies since their conception, if they had the listed problems inherent, in their brand they would have been blownout years ao.i would guess you had a bad personel xperience. nokia are famed for their reliability and crispness of sound,in most peoples opinion I know. that is at the expense of design quality.their phone designs are less cool than others as they go for reliability rather than chic. a pointless post.why go on a nokia film? zzzzzzz
I do not like NOKIA at all. You realize that they save costs at the expense of quality. Newer models look cheaper concerning the material, its packaging, displays have low contrast and can hardly be read from sharp angles, sound quality is often bad (continuous hissing/buzzing), and NOKIA phones often have very high radiation values (even more than 1.5 W/kg!!). I always refrain from buying a NOKIA when I need a new phone because of that.

yes ican compare nokia asha 300 to iphonethis phone got acheap price with touch any type with 5mb cameraand memorycard 32gb and can play youtupe streamfinaly it can play angry birds and mixed touch games in this phone like fruit cut or angry birdsfinaly iphone is much better but much high priceand the battery get low fast

LIKE ME, I AM USE THE BASIC PHONE USING ALL INDIAN LANGUAGES IN INPUT.
I wanted a basic phone without WiFi and Facebook and this fitted the bill I like the mix of touch and keys yeah I people think it's a shit phone but for what I need it for its fine! the one thing I hate is being tagged in thing when I'm out or getting notifications or emails when I'm out, also I've had my phone stolen before so having a cheaper handset on me is a less of a worry. over all on a personal level this phone is all I need.
Questions:1. Is there another way to unlock/wake-up the phone besides the power button? Like for example any keys on the keypad?2. Is it still working fine today?Thanks for sharing.

I have one of these and it does the job well- (you know- a phone and device for texting) The back is a bit tricky to get off (An easy way to get the back off is to drop the phone...)

Think I've just sussed it - if you keep you finger on the button for a second or two it writes the number to the screen.
Great vid just got one of these phones a year and a half after you! I can't figure out how to insert numbers in a text message. For the number 2 I suppose you could press the abc button until 2 arrives but for number 0 as soon as you press it puts a space in straight away. I used to have a sony phone and you can change from Abc or abc or ABC or 123 but this nokia just seems to have the Abc, abc and ABC modes? Can anyone help? Cheers
