Does this work with MagMod diffusers? Im looking for a flash that has capabilities to use diffusers with and is in the same price range.
Does the front LED flash for still photos when the main flash is raised for bounce, as it does on the Nissin Di866?

terrible info on the HSS function on the Fuji guys. Its 2018! It does work and firmware been around since end of last year!
I got the nissin i40 and the grey a6000. As soon as i mount the flash on the camera it doesn‘t work anymore. I can‘t even change the settings on the flash itself like switching to video light for example. Tried the flash on a other a6000 and it worked perfectly. I tried the sandpaper trick, i cleaned everything nothing. Any idea? Flipping out here!
does the lamp also acts as focus assist when in total darkness like it lights up momentarily when half pressing the shutter?. btw it's 2020 now. is this model still continued?

I wish that there was a flash for the Sony A6xxx series with the attributes of the Canon 270EXii. This Nissin as well as the Godox Mini 350S is relatively small however, it rides high on the hotshoe. The Canon 270EX ii rides low on the hotshoe but the flash head can be tilted up for bounce. The darn Sony hotshoe is a fairly delicate piece of gear and I don't feel at all confident of carrying a flash, at the end of a strap, that rides high on the hotshoe. IMO, this would make the hotshoe or flash shoe vulnerable to breakage if the flash were dinged during the carrying. The lower riding 270EX ii would be less likely to get banged.
Will I able to use it to a7ii as well?

I bought the I40 for my sony a6500. The I40 acts funny, the ttl will not work, sometimes the camera is over exposed, through the eye view I have to switch it to manual and then to ttl and the lights look right, but its over exposed and good for only one shot. When I first got it, it worked great in ttl. What could have happened?
Can u explain the AF-assist light, does it suppose to be on when the flash comes on too, I have trouble shooting when I put it on TTL the picture turn dark?

I own a6300 and am looking to buy my first flash. i've seen already some reviews and videos on nissin i40, and it seems to me that it's kind of a best buy option for many users. do you still use it? What would be your recommendation to me for a first flash (hss is a must have, looking to improve my photography, do some portraiture with umbrellas/softboxes etc. p.s. price and size also very important for me)? Hi bro, i have a flash that is HSS capable and i set the YN560IV to S1, The YN560 IV fires but when i set my SS above 160th, i can only see the light from the HSS capable flash but not the light from YN560 IV. any other settings for yn560 other than setting to S1?
Great review of the Nissin t40 and i was looking for something a little cheaper than sony models. Through my research of sony's flash the quality did not match the price. How well does it work with the sony a9? Thanks for the review because it gave me another flash to consider.

I see an issue here in regards to the adjustable TTL mode dial. According to the instructions you can INCREASE the intensity of the flash by 2 F-stops (4x) whilst the daylight background exposure remains the same. This means that this flashgun is hamstrung by the fact that it's normal (0) power setting is 4x LESS than that of it's maximum output. This in effect means that, if the maximum increase in power is 2 F-stops from '0', this then, is assumed to be, the maximum power of the gun - which, at a 100 ISO, has a (Nissin claimed) GN of 32. However, as the 'normal' (0) correct exposure setting is 2 F-stops LESS than this, then this GN must be only 16. That surely can't be right?
