I have recently acquired the L840 and wanted to ask if my zoom lens is exactly the same as the B700, and yes i am a complete novice just learning about what you will regard and proper camera,s,I ask because when shooting at full zoom i don,t seem to get the sharpness i would like,cheers from the uk.

A terrific review .OK I am late as was busy with Panasonic cams Like the zoom as do lots of nature and bird .Can you tell me a) is it still on the market .B) what is the weight ...What did really give me a buzz was the audio using built in stereo .Panasonic do that well but I need the zoom Here's hoping :)

I have this camera and as you stated it is a great camera. My only issue is the focus. You did mention focusing issues. It is very hard to use the manual focus feature. I do use it for fast moving far away objects.

Good morning to you from Holland where we are in an so called "intelligent lockdown"! I have acquired a Nikon B700 and now that there is time enough to spend more time on this hobby I wanted to take macro pictures of the many flowers that are starting to come out. However, I have problems in getting an excellent focussed picture. Both in the green auto mode as in the A mode I just cannot focus (red squares in the finder) and I have to take more distance to the object. Question: how can I get focussed images when I am very near to my object? Thank you so much for your advice. Regards. Nice day. Max

This is my concert camera (when they don't allow interchangeable lens cameras) and the results are pretty good. Certainly could never get the same quality shots at a distance with any cell phone camera.

What would you say is better the NIKON P520, or the B700? I am looking at buying a lightly used camera, and these are the two best options for me. Unfortunately, the B700 is much more expensive than the P520, but I am afraid the P520 could be a very old model (as they were made in 2013). What would you recommend for me and my budget? I am looking around $200 and under, maybe $250. Thanks all help appreciated.

Brother trust me canon sx60 better then this camera
But B700 can shoot in raw while p900 can't.However I'm no pro and I'd love to have a camera which can have a superzoom to take it with me on holidays. I've got not so much cash and I wasn't sure if a reflex is the right choice for me. Knowing that I don't need to print pics atm and that I'm a student with no much cash will you advise me a bridge or a reflex?
