How come nobody comments that the mid section of these shoes are uncomfortable and tight. They are not "snug" or "narrow" they are designed poorly because of the mid section section that is horrible.

Question, since you seem to know your stuff, Can I add an insole to provide a little more cushioning for runs and whatnot? If yes, any recommendations? I never hear of people doing this, an many CF shoes just feel so hard on runs
Metcon frees all day. I stopped wearing my metcons bc the frees are so comfortable and stable. Romaleos for squats,snatches etc

Man, I am so torn on what shoes to get. These look so sweet though! Currently, I have the 2018 flyknit free run. Love the flyknit (except the tongue is not durable at all) and use it as my daily and predominantly train barefoot as I would never deadlift or squat in these. I would love a shoe I can do heavy lifting in but also high-intensity cardio workouts. I have been looking at Reebok Speed TR Flexweave but also saw these! Sadly, I am a Nike fanboy. I am kinda considering getting both haha. What shoe would you recommend?
when are the Metcon 5's coming out? seems like Nike is re-releasing the 4's over and over with minor color changes.

I normally wear Vivos and Merrells. Bought these a few weeks ago to try something new. I'm a 12EE, had to get a 13 and they're still tight with normal socks. Have to wear thin socks. I do a lot of loaded movement based training involving a lot of flows with maces, clubs, kettlebells, ViPRs, bands, TRX Rip Trainer, Aqua bags, center mass bells, the landmine, animal flow, etc. I'm constantly transitioning from one plane of motion to another with locomotion and level change. This sneaker is good, even better than I expected but not as good as the Merrells or Vivos FOR MY WIDE FEET AND STYLE OF TRAINING. Your mileage may vary.

Paul, I luv the video, and you explain well, look handsome, and great review and I luv the flyknits, but you should actually show the process of trying on the shoes which exudes comfort and the review make even more thorough and informative as style and comfort or important in selection for consumers.
