Bought the AC 1000 and so far been awesome. Internet has gained so much speed, use it with Roku to stream TV and haven't had a problem.

I own this router. I would not buy it again. Ethernet ports are limited to 100 mbps. Wifi works fine, but if you're paying for high speed internet and you hard wire a desktop or laptop to it, you will be disappointed.
can you make it extend internet without connecting an ethernet to it?

Thanks for the review. I've been VERY dissapointed with the wide range of problems I've had with low cost LinkSys routers, and am looking to "jump ship". Its become obvious that despite being the "home product version" of CISCO, they just aren't spending the time to work out bugs. The weirdest of problems I've had all traced back to the router, and some GOOGLE poking revealed others with similar problems. But I just can't afford a high end router, and I'm hoping such "bugginess" isn't something we have to live with on every brand! But all routers eventually have SOME problems. So 2 simple question: (1) How often do you find yourself needing to re-boot this Netgear router to restore expected operation. (2) When you do have to re-boot it, how long does it take to re-establish the WAN and all local LAN connections? Thanks!

If you have below 20 Mbps get this router other wise DONT. This product is very misleading because of its WAN Pitt only supports 100 Mbps meaning even if you have 1200 mbps speeds you will only get 100 or less because of it this is a sick marketing scam. Im disappointed in Netgear but they have some really good products otherwise, if you have 200 Mbps get ac1750 Netgear.

You don't "go to a website", it's an IP address that accesses your device's (router) interface.
I just recently got this router and Im having problems with it going offline, it makes me lag while games sometimes and etc
So is this a one time purchase ie no monthly costs? Also can i connect it where my old router was

do you have to have a modem to plug the blue cord into or can it be plugged into my playstation 4 cause my ps4 has an spot for it to be plugged into but its not working when i try so do you need a modem ?

All In ones are going to cost you about 2000-5000$ so if you still want to go that route I can give u some devices

1,000 sq ft is smaller. This is the best value router imho.
