I have panoramic wifi with cox communications in Vegas. I've got my modem/router upstairs as suggested by the tech that installed it but my internet was fast now it is slow. I did tests when 1st installed and now it's not even half the speed. Should I buy the Orbi and will it help

Try taking satellite down. It may be the overlap. The broadcast area my cover the entire home.

I've been looking for a router for the last 2 months. We have a provider issued router that I believe is junk. lose signal then connect to another channel all the time and slow speeds. I was pretty happy with your review and i think i'm gonna order it and try it. I'll let you know how I make out.

What’s the range from the satellite to the other piece ?
You have the router and the satellite unit that you can plug anywhere in your house, so devices connect to the satellite via WiFi, but do devices connect directly to the router via WiFi or the satellite only? Please advise.

Hey man, I'm looking at one of these, my sons do gaming and I was wondering if you can hard wire to a satellite?
If I were to use the satellite wirelessly, can I hardwire from the satellite to my desktop computer? Will the speeds make a difference between plugging it in to the router and plugging it in to the satellite?
Someone's trying to call you. Also tried the internet speed test site and got the worst number I've seen. I've always been told to get acurrate test is the best.

Can you do comparison between Orbi Netgear and Linksys ?
So ours wouldn't stream Netflix or Hulu on a Roku device. Worked on computers and cellphones, but NOT Roku. Lots of stuff online about the problem. Solutions ranged from rebooting to going in and modifying firmware. Returned mine after 2 days. I buy stuff like this to make my life easier, not to have more crap to mess with.

I also have the Orbi 50. Much faster than the Netgear Gigabit Powerline adapters I was using before.
Orbi are junk. I took mine back after 6 months of firmware bugs. Lots of wifi devices dropping. Known issues with the Orbi on the net gear community and working with their engineers to fix it.
