I have just started experimenting more with lipsticks and I'm sticking to drugstore brands such as NYC, ELF, and Wet n Wild. I just got the NYC lipstick in Berry Me. I don't have a lot to compare it to, but so far I like it better then the wet and wild matte lipsticks.
Berry me and sugar plum are my favorite....I love them matte by just adding some powder on it....because sugar plum is frosty so prefer it matte

Love these lipsticks! I have 4 shades. :). The only downfall is the caps they come off easily on my makeup bag. I have had to place them in ziplock bags to avoid accidents..
I didn't like mine so much... I'm going to try again, but mine broke and the cap keeps falling off and in my travel bag it got everywhere... I'm not so much disappointed by the lipstick (I haven't really tried it) but rather that mine broke already :(

I have Coralista and it's a pretty shade,a little too bright but the consistency is too sheer and somewhat greasy and it wears off in only an hour without eating or drinking anything. I find that the NYC City Proof Twistable Intense Color crayon lasts longer and is somewhat less sheer.L.A. Colors Lipstick for a dollar and some cents is much better!

In your opinion, how do these compare to the NYC Ultra Last Lipwear? I noticed NYC doesn't list them anymore on their website and I can't find them in stores. Though I have also noticed a lot of same color names/shades that seem to have been carried over.

All I buy is drugstore. I cannot afford High end department store brands! I love there lipsticks. I have 2 -- Snowcone and Coralista. I got Snowcone for a really pretty pink and Coralista to try a coral color and I'm really feeling it. The smell of these are fabulous too. I am wanting a nude shade too but I'm afraid of them because I'm pretty fair. NYC has some great products, most of my makeup bag is full of NYC but the auto eyeliner is a fail. Emily, I always look forward to your reviews and really appreciate how you're honest but also aware that a lot of people can't splurge on pricy makeup and keep it real and use/test drugstore products too :) I'm 26 and I've learned so much in such little time about makeup and applying! You're awesome!
You should try the shade 'Blue Rose'. It's a beautiful bright purpley-pink! It does have a very slight blue/purple duo chrome, but it doesn't look weird after a few hours. It just creates a bit more dimension to the lips. I love it! I've been wearing it all the time!
