Really enjoyed your video, I read everything about creatine on the Myprotein bit before your video. I have a question about the side effrcts. It said weight gain! Can you elaborate on this please? I’m new to taking these supplements as I’ve upped my game in the gym (I was before lockdown) and at home. The last thing I want to is gain unnecessary weight when I’ve already lost weight. If it means lean muscle then I’m down with that. But I don’t want to get fat again.

Is it recommended to still taking it while working out at home? Given the lockdown now? I’m talking about 5-6 days a week training including full body body weight, HIIT, isolated strength split between days and some running. But, not sports or heavy gym lifting! I have done creatine monohydrate loading for a week in the past and it has helped me significantly. I havent used creatine for over a year now, and got myself the creapure variation. Would loading with it be ok as well before i go to 5g/day?

I've asked this in other places, but I'll ask again because I am trying to get an answer. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but the 0.5lb and 1.1lb bags of creatine monohydrate from my protein are very different. While the 1.1lb bags are consistent with other 1.1lb bags, as soon as I switch from taking the 1.1lb bag to the 0.5lb bag, my acne goes away, I sleep better, and I stop losing hair. I also notice changes in my motor movements and even how deep my voice sounds. Anyone know why this is? I don't want to be taking a placebo. I know for a fact that the 1.1lb bag works for me, but I also like the fact that the 0.5lb bag doesn't give me Side effects. I'm at at loss as to which to take. I asked my protein about it, but they just asked me to provide a batch number and confirmed that the 0.5lb bag is "as tested". That really doesn't help explain why they are so different.

Ugh I have no idea which one to take. The three that seem to be the best are monohydrate, hcl and creapure. There so many people saying different things and idk such one is the best. I just want the one that will be me the biggest lol. I’ve heard some people say that hcl increases more lean body mass than mono. But than I was also reading that hcl doesn’t have the same amount of water retention of mono.
