I have the M6800 the daddy of them all with the highest end i7 of the time. These machines were so soilidly built and with an SSD are really fast. To think you have room for 3 drives is brilliant.So well built and designed and are really solid, they do not make them like this anymore that's for sure, so I must tear it down and do some maintenance on it.The fans rarely come on, I have 32gb Ram in it and a 4gb nvidia quadro in it I think. these machines don't break. Thanks for the great video my man!

I have a question! My Dell M6600 continuously runs at stock on 55C and in gaming sometimes runs at 95C but at least at 88C-90C so please tell me what to do!

Have the M6800, 1 X MSATA, 2 X SSD, i7-4940MX, K5100m, 32GB, 4g WAN with rare touchscreen. Same spec as end of line top Covet mode. Wouldn't swap it for anything, it flys with everything I want to do with it. Big behemoth and built to last. Will be looking into the nVIDIA Quadro P6000 gpu/vbios upgrade/mod later this year.If Dell still made their mobile workstations in the same casing (who cares about the weight, it's a desktop spec mobile workstation), I'd buy a top spec model immediately.
You should try upgrading the heatsink!Edit: also your english needs an upgrade asap!
Love your videos Andrew. This is laptop that I have and would love to do the same things as you have done. I have some questions. What work bench our using? Specifically the little table shown is this video. Also I've seen you using some type of green mat underneath your laptops while working on them that seems to have centimeter measurements displayed. Aside from it looking cool is there any other purpose for it? I'd like to have one just based on how cool it looks. Was wondering if you could link me to where you purchased yours preferably amazon or eBay links if possible and also links to everything you use for upgrading and working on laptops might be interesting video as well if you haven't already made one. Would always appreciate links to anything you use down below in the notes. Thanks for all your helpful and interesting videos.
I traded my hp 2000 notebook for a dell precision m4700 the dell precision has a core i7 3940XM 3GHz cpu 15.6 1080p display 1tb ssd and a second 500gb hdd blu-ray drive that i installed wifi and Bluetooth and invida gpu and intel HD 4000 graphics and i upgraded to windows 10 pro after i enabled the tpm chip in bios i will be installing windows 11pro on the notebook
