I am still using moto g5 plus after seeing your review I have purchased it and till now it is superb sometime it lags but it's ok for me. I can use it 1-2 years more if all the things are going good with the phone

Nice mobile moto g
This phone is built like a tank. Its been over 3 years and I could not just manage to kill it. Dropped it dozens of times only the camera cover cracked a bit and that's all. I even some what like it more than a pixel or iphone.
This was my first phone dropped it in a sink after the screen was cracked from a prev fall but he was one tough mothereffer rip my dear Moto g5 plus
I'm just now about to upgrade from this phone and I got it when it came out
Main thing is that it has camera of f/1.7 aperture

I have Moto g5s plus
I have the 2gb ram LCD version. Its dying out of memory and charging issues these days but still works. Now i ave the new moto budget phone, the G9 Play (although i really wanted the G8 power but its very similar). Aside from excessive memory usage from youtube and facebook, its a solid budget phone.
Why did you stop doing this series of budget phones?
I got mine in May of 2018 for 99.99, watching now time to move on to a new phone, so I got my 2+ years out of the phone. My microphone just went but I got my money out of it for sure.
I've had this phone for three years now, and I drop my phone every day. Sometimes multiple times a day. It's been thrown down stairs plenty of times on accident and hit concrete countless times. I have a cheap silicone case on it from amazon and a tempered glass screen protector. While the screen protector has had some cracks and scratches in it over the years, my phone is COMPLETELY fine. It's starting to slow down just a tad bit, but nothing too bad. I'm realizing now when considering a new phone that I've been so spoiled with the durability as this one. It's a true gem. I hope the newer motorolas are just as durable!
