I have gifted this moto G82 phone to my mom , bought offline for 20,424/- (after applying 5% discount on Credit card) from R-digital. I had no plan to buy this one as I was looking to buy Samsung phone in this range of 15- 20K, but they didnt look good at all , then I found this Motorola white variant very nice and so light weight. 120 hz refresh rate and screen quality is really impressive with android 12. Good thing is I have got the charger 33 W along with earphones & ofcourse a very nice transparent cover

Hi RanjitI have been following you for a long time now. You have always spoken good about Moto phones in 2022 or even some phones last year. So why do their ratings decrease eventually to 4.1 and 4.2 sometimes even to 4. Where as other brands stay at least at 4.3 or 4.4 even after a lot of ratings. Please could you tell the reason ?

Writing this from my Moto G82 White Lily. I recommend you buy the white version too coz it looks really pretty & stands out way more than the black version. Things I love in this phone :1. I can't stress this enough how much I love its light weight and slim design. I love the perfectly calculated mix of a bit cornered + a bit round edges. All this makes it look & feel premium compared to other phones in the same price segment.2. Display is EXCELLENT. I'm using 120Hz refresh rate and it's working smooth like knife through butter. I even turned off the extra ram feature coz it's not needed, & because more ram consumes more battery too. I also removed animation feature coz i don't think it had any pros & I'm not sure it makes the phone faster but if it does then all the better.3. Battery life is very very good ( but not excellent on 120Hz refresh rate as expected), with causal tasks you can go more than a day and a half before it drops below 10%. But if you consume media and apps all day you will notice battery dropping by night. This is again because 120 Hz refresh rate eats a lot of your battery compared to 90Hz refresh rate which I consider the most optimal point in smoothness + battery. So I wish they included 90Hz option. But I also highly recommend to NOT use 60Hz on this phone coz it doesn't feel or look good. This phone feels excellent on 120Hz. You don't want to rob yourself of that experience. And also the charging is really fast, your phone is charged before you even notice. So in battery department I consider it CLOSE to EXCELLENT.4. Stock android combined with other Moto features like Peek display makes it a pleasure to use this phone. Seriously its user interface feels PREMIUM compared to MIUI and other ui skins.Things that left me a bit disappointed :1. Camera. There's no point in looking in Moto phones or any phone below 25k if camera is your main priority. For me it wasn't so the lack of a great camera doesn't really bother me.2. I wish they promised 2 more Android updates compared to just 1 more because I plan to use this phone for next 5 years.3. You might find it difficult to get a suitable screen guard / glass for this phone & if you get one it will not work with the cover you receive in the box. Which means you will have to buy a cover which is compatible with your screen guard. Which then means the weight of your phone increases by 15-20 g & your phones width dimensions by a few mm sadly :( ( i wish i could keep it to 173g and the width as it is originally coz seriously its light weight and slimness is one of its BIGGEST pros for me)Some tips if you buy this phone :1. I like to avoid using power button in every phone I buy so if you want to lock your screen without having to press power button you should add " Accessibility button" from "Accessibility shortcuts" and then select "navigation bar" or "ball" depending on what you prefer ( I prefer the former). Then you can lock your phone from the screen without having to press power button.2. Turn off ram boost which is present under "System" and then "Performance". You don't actually need extra ram, and more ram also eats more battery so it's better to have it off.My opinion : It's the best phone under 23k or even 25k segment when you weight all the aspects compared to other phones & value the things that I do. Other phones might come up with better camera but they will also have way more weight, less battery, terrible UIs like MIUI or Color OS ( Rip Oneplus) etc etc.

Ranjit disappointed by not getting 2 OS updates on this one. Ask those users who purchased moto edge 20 fusion last year and still waiting to get Android 12 while previous phones like G40, G60 already running on A-12.

Ranjit sir you just turn on the developer option and there is a option 'ANIMATION DURATION SCALE' shift that to 0.5x from 1x there will be animations but it will be very much fast like you have used 144 or 120 Hz displayRemoving animations doesn't feel good.I am using this option in my Motorola e40 and it feels very much smooth and very fast
