Hey Jim, we need a review on the Misfit Shine 2
I just recieved my MOOV 3 days ago and is the best I mean for real! I do swimming laps and it's amazing how it works! Worth every penny!
I've just finished watching your Misfit Flash review (great video, by the way). In the vid, you mentioned that during the sleep monitoring when you tend to your daughter in the middle of the night, Misfit Flash doesn't acknowledge that you've gotten up and have gone back to sleep. Would you know if Misfit Shine 2 does the same? Unfortunately, I'm not seeing a review for it. Cheers!
To tap the misfit, it's recommended to tap with two fingers.

Mine scratches very easily. But I love this! It tracks my swimming very well!
use the leather band.  it never pops out  Mine popped out of the silicone band several times; the only reason I did not lose it was the magnet.Shine is a great device
the sportsband does not keep the device secure! it continually pops out - My daughter has lost a device and my device has popped out many times - especially when doing normal household chores - very disappointing ! if i lose mine I wont be haooy but I cn see this happening very soon does anyone else have this problem

Hi Jim, are you going to review the Shine 2 sometime soon? I am at a point where I have 3 finalist: - Fitbit Charge HR (Im hesitant because of the battery life) - Vivofit 2 - Shine 2 This will be for my mom who isnt too tech savvy but wants to get more active. Please let me know your thoughts

hi dear, thanks for your review, i want to know does it logs running, walking and sitting automatically, does it shows that into the software ? what about the heart rate ? does it automatically track sleep ? and for swimming does it logs swimming activity with calories burned automatically ?

why i can't dowload app for this fitness tracker
I have a Shine 2 and it has NEVER fallen out. I've run with it, jumped on the trampoline with it, and it hasn't fallen out. Mine has a ring that built into the strap so there is no way that it will ever fall out. I LOVE my Shine 2! Everything is so accurate!

Misfit has to change the strap design for the shine. What a bad design, the strap cannot securely keep the device on the strap. It fell off easily. You will see it hollow on the strap one day.
I don't recommend buying this! I bought mine December 2015. Misfit had to send me new devices twice because they were defective ! The third was dead a little after three months of use, and unfortunately, 13 months after Dec/15, which makes it out of warranty. I'm switching to Fitbit. Misfit never again!
Does this track actual swim laps?

none of the step trackers are 100% accurate not one.
​Worst fitness tracker ever. It's pretty, but won't stay in the wrist band for longer than 10 minutes. Flies out of the silicone band. Even on the way home from purchasing it, it fell out while I was simply driving. Resorted to putting it in my zipper pocket during my run. I ran 3.52 miles according to "Map My Run", but recorded the distance as 4.7 miles on my Misfit app. It even said I burned over 700 calories, which is wildly inaccurate. Returned immediately. Super disappointed
well its not the greatest thing in the world but it is cool.

Thanks very much for a honest, realistic helpful review. I just purchased my Shine from Best Buy for the cycling feature the others didn't have as well as the 50 meter waterproof. The sales adviser sold me a Shine and a Flash saying I needed them both to monitor cycling. :-0  (They both do the same. Flash is not Aluminum and only 30 meters waterproof).  I was about to return them both until I seen your review. Thankfully I'm going to keep the Shine. ( It looks better and more accessories than Flash) I will return flash and the insurance he sold with it. Hopefully Android app with get updated to match the iOS app. I have HTC One M8 and Apple 4S for company phone. the iOS app is more detailed than the Android app.

What iPad are you using because I have just trying to set mine up and it's saying I don't have the correct Bluetooth.
I already have a gear that kind of does peds, but not much more. I have looked all the trackers because I want a more complete ecosystem. I love this since it looks great. Does it have calorie intake on the app?
