Dony, I noticed you often use 1/4 inch drive sockets. Is that what you always reach for? I typically use 3/8 for all and nut setters for the small stuff.

I have 2 genius 1/2" sets 8-32 in shallow & deep. Mine are both Taiwan. Yeah they are pretty good, the CRV is OK. I use mine on pneumatic guns so which shows there flaws. Some of my most uses sizes are worn a bit both on the drive end & socket end. I don't like how on the larger deep sizes they don't have a stepped shoulder and the small sizes are not necked down. These are 'pro' features that cost a bit more to machine. But in general, they are value for money. I do like that 1/4" set, very complete and comprehensive. FWIW Genius hold up better than the super soft Snap On impacts.
Do the sockets fit tight into the ratchet? I have a new Tekton impact set and many are very loose on my impact wrench. Hoping the Genius brand has tighter tolerance.

Where are they made at? Please do not say china. I have always bought craftsman snap on mac tools. I have tools over 40 years old. But when I break something back say a ratchet its 1/2 the weight and says made in China Mexico Taiwan 
On your recommendation, I got this exact set. It is as good as you said. The only thing that would make it better would be to have a set of Torx and hex bits inside, then it would be absolutely fantastic! I'm going to check out more tools from these guys. Made it nice and easy to have all those sockets and my cordless on the last three projects since Saturday. The cheapest I found them were $95 on Ebay.
A 1/4" impact set with this many sockets, etc., is a fantastic value and now is on the top of my "tool's to get" list. An Milwaukee 18v Fuel Impact is at the top of my "wish list."
once i used a bunch of reducers to put a 1/4 socket on a 3/4" impact. you can guess what happened!

that socket set is made in Taiwan but must be decently made as you have used the first set an no disappointment yet
5.5mm. Good for (iirc) late 80s early 90s ford ignition modules. That looks like a decent set, those are nice u joints too.
