Most students in college (who can afford to do so) choose to have a normal laptop and a tablet over a 2in1, if one dies, you have the other....if the 2in1 dies....welp guess you ain't gonna be getting work done that day pal lol, it's why I'm choosing the surface laptop 2 over the surface book 2

Guys keep in mind you are paying for the built quality, how thin laptop is, and how it manages to contain all of those specs with that size. So if I were you it's a decent price

What you did not mention is that for surface laptop it is extremely difficult to clean install windows from USB. No other device requires an additional external mouse and keyboard for clean install when the device already has a touchpad and keyboard. For some reason microsoft just cant be normal.

It's 2020 now, I got the entry level one and still loving it! Still the best keyboard on a laptop and the fabric looks as good now as when I got it out of the box 3 years ago. I did get the free upgrade to Windows 10 and yes I did change from a MacBook too... I think you can read the future Dieter... I also still don't really need USB C either lol.
