I had issues with One Drive and sychronization of outlook files. It took hours sometimes. So I switched to Google One. Have you heard of these problems?

Bro I have 1 TB OneDrive and 100 GB Google Drive. Actually I'm using two services. Because I liked very much two ones.
The Google 1 is not that great. With paid Microsoft 365 Personal you get 1 TB of OneDrive storage and 50GB of email for $69 per year. With the Microsoft 365 Family, you get 6 users and each person get 1TB OneDrive and 50GB of email for $99. With both the you get Office online and download. Teams is now taking the place of Skype. Microsoft 365 is better than Google 1.
Great video! Although I have one query that has me confused for a very long time. Both One Drive and Google One have mentioned their billing as "per month" so does it make the billing system similar to Netflix's? Or will my money be deducted only after the complete usage of my storage. Hoping for a reply as this has been really bothering me. Thanks a lot for this informative video.

I love google, its snappy, fast and search friendly, but in terms of price comparison, Microsoft 365 is far ahead than google 1. 5 licence of Microsoft office 365, 1 TB times 5 cloud storage, skype 100 mins each for world wide, telephone call credit (except some countries) etc.
How many days the documents saved in one drive last? Is their any timeline will it auto delete?
ONEDRIVE is a god damn joke ... im amazed that Microsoft can even keep windows 10 running half decently when ONEDRIVE literally has never worked on my computer ... looks like it might then it doesnt and i know many others with the same issue ... so i dont use it and never will ...

Hi, is is true that the 6 Tb of the one drive plan are anyway for max 1 Tb for each account? (in other words, one single account cannot use more than 1 Tb). Plus, I have chatted with a microsoft agent and he told that if I first buy the 1 Tb 365 plan (69 €/year) and then upgrade to family plan for 6 Tb, I just need to pay 10 euros more instead of the difference between the 2 plans (on the website, the 6Tb plan costs 99/year)... that sounds really strange to me... My comments and subscription plans are from Europe, as I write from Italy. Thanks for any clarifying comment on this topic :-)

Hi Kevin, Great video but is there any chance of you covering the security problem of a local account user accessing Onedrive files on windows explorer on the built-in Onedrive on windows 10? On my PC I have an administrator account and a local user account. Files I wish to remain private are in the administrator account and on Onedrive. Anyone who logs into the local account can access the OneDrive files on the Windows Explorer folder, without entering any password or code. This means a loss of protection of files that are stored in the administrator account for security. I tried uninstalling the built-in Onedrive and reinstalling it on the administrator account only, but it still left access to a Onedrive folder on the windows explorer of the local drive. I could have left the built-in Onedrive uninstalled and just used the online option, which requires a username and password, but I found this too inconvenient.
Lets not forget than OneDrive is not infinite when it's 'full' you have to pay for more storage.

Cloud are shit. Can't handle a link. If you have a link from a cell in excel to an image, the cloud cannot display the image. Therefore, I would rather take the Excel document with me on the laptop, than load the file from the cloud.

It strikes me that it is just a chance for those with quantum computers or even just supercomputers to read all the files stored there. The fact that encryption is not illegal is an indicator the spy agencies can crack it. The files are at risk stored there. M$ One Drove could be looking at every file on your PC, while only logging ones in your One Drove folders. The only safe way is to uninstall the program, in my view.
