? Who but this garbage reviews out. warranty info? & does the caliper power off truly off or is it drawing current? vinca does not have an inch scale. Are the batteries a common easy to get battery? case quality? Did you test them with a gage at different locations?
My biggest frustration with digital imperial calipers is the fractional display can't be tounded to reasonable fractions. If you want to quickly measure a bolt head for example to see what socket you need...instead of being able to display the closest 1/16" for example on a 9/16" head...the display will show 143/256" or something similar and you have to do the math to see that 9/16" is the correct socket.
Another advantage of the digital calipers is that they can do simple math very easily since you can zero in on any value and get positive and negative readings from it
I know how to use them, but watched your video anyway - and I know somethning new. Imperial units are way dumber than I thought they are, and I drive US cars on daily basis so can relate. :P

I have that same Pittsburgh dial caliper, & it's accurate down to 0.0005" I didn't expect that kind of accuracy, because I only intended to use it for my woodworking... but WOW! Makes me want to give their micrometers a look.
I wish the HF dial calipers where metric, everything is based on metric. I don't know why anyone would use SAE anymore.

I have several sets of Mitutoyo dial calipers. One set for 30 years. You can not expect anything better than +/- .001 for daily use. The big thing is when you slide them back and forth, and they jump teeth. You could be off .010 or more in a heartbeat, and not know until you zero again.

For anything less than a couple of thousandths, you should probably use a mic anyway. Seems like he HF ones are pretty good. I'd be concerned with bending over time, also gear wear in the dial.
