Bluish stink due to lack of lubrication , I guess
1) Cross section of 2 st con rod, it is always round in section whereas the cross section of 4 st trunk type engine is I section or H section girder because the idea is to keep con rod for 4 st as light as possible because it got very rapid movement. 2) In 2 st is connecting rod is connecting to piston rod by cross head whereas in 4st it is directly connected to the piston through a gudgeon pin. 3) In 2 st con rod lubricating oil can travels both upward and downwards direction whereas in 4 st lube oil only travels in upward direction. 4) The 2 st engine doesn't require bottom end bearing to be changed only 4 st trunk type engine requires their bottom end bearing to be changed

Difference between 2 stroke Connecting Rod & 4 stroke Connecting Rod: - (1) 2 stroke Con Rod both top-end bearing and bottom end bearing are of split type; but in 4 stroke connecting rod, only bottom end bearing is of split type. (2) only compressive forces are acting on 2 stroke connecting rod but 4 stroke connecting rod is subjected to tensile as well as compressive stresses and is also subjected to axial thrust. (3) In 2 stroke, connecting rod is connected to piston rod by crosshead assembly but in 4 stroke, It is connected directly to piston by gudgeon pin.
1.Any IC engine of cylinder diameter of 200 mm or a crankcase volume of 0.6 m3 and above shall be provide with crankcase relief valve of a suitable type with sufficient relief area. 2.In large engine, cylinder diameter more than 300mm, require one relief valve to be placed on each crankcase door. 3.In small engine, cylinder diameter not more than 300mm, crankcase door of which are usually very strong. It may have relief valve or valves at its end. 4.Its free area should not be smaller than 45cm2 and there shall be minimum of 115cm2 /m3 of the gross crankcase volume. 5.Spring setting for opening pressure is 0.07 bar at an internal pressure and will close when the pressure has been relieved. 6.The valves should open smartly and close positively and rapidly. 7. The relief valves shall be arranged or provided with means to ensure that discharge from them is so directed as to minimize the possibility of injury to personnel.

CCAI= calculated carbon aromacity index More CCAI means more aromatics and hence bad fuel In marine industry generally we use fuel of CCAI=850 or less If the value will be more it will affect the engine performance
