Great video! How did you achieve each of the tunings? I just got this drum and I'm trying to find out how to get it to sound good. Any tips would be helpful, thanks!
I like the Daisy Cutters the best. But surprisingly, I was at a retailer, and there was a stock Yamaha Stage Custom(!) snare for sale by itself. Not comparing, but it did sound pretty good.
I'm bummed that they aren't doing the snare trade option anymore, but I'm also glad that my favorite drum here (from what I can tell in the video) is the Tomahawk, which comes stock with the set I'm getting. So I'm lucky there lol

funny, they all sound very much the same! very little difference actually, and i`m listening with earphones! I think one can go only with the look on these. Btw, your bass drum front head should be a little tighter, it`s flapping all around and it would sound a bit less flat.

Yea, the over tones are there, but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. I just bought a daisy cutter and it's a fucking beast of a snare. Threw one moon gel on it and it instantly makes it waayyy better. The thunderous crack on that thing is magical
