Thank you for your interview. Really informative. What is the matter with the mistaken title that almost every single youtuber/reviewer has adopted ? There is NO "Pixi Evo 2" mini tripod. The actual (correct) title is Pixi Evo (2-section) Mini Tripod There are no brackets in the official Manfrotto site , and everyone has taken the word "2-section" apart , placing the number 2 next to the actual title "Pixi Evo" There is NO "Pixi Evo 2".
I've seen many reviews say it is PIXI EVO 2, but in fact, there is no EVO 2 yet. What Manfrotto shows at their website is "PIXI EVO 2-Section Mini Tripod" (/) and thus everyone thought it is EVO 2. : )

Great review, Tyler, thanks! Per your question at the end, I've owned a Pixi Evo 2 for a couple years and I love it. Fantastic silky-smooth build quality and beautiful lines. My odd use is holding a small video field monitor in an Apple TV / Airplay Speaker upgrade for an old Bose Wave Radio, circa the late 1990s. The ability to set up different leg lengths was very helpful. I am thinking about buying another to use with the new iPhone 11 Pro Max. Great product.

i didnt realise manfrotto did more than one of these mini tripods,i bought the cheaper one on amazon, and my camera setup is about 4lbs ,so i`ll see how it goes!

Great review brotha! Thinking about picking up the EVO 2 setup for use with my camera with zoom lens (4 lbs total) and cellphone vlogging. This really helped me understand the differences (already have the pixie mini) between the two tripods! The original might suffice for me!

You failed to mention that that one does NOT come with the holder that you put the iPhone on to mount it on the tripod. Would love to have known whether a iPhone with a Otter box case on it can fit.

Great review - clear and concise. Just bought one of these today ahead of a trip away next week. A great alternative as I didn't fancy bringing my full size tripod with me but wanted stability for night time shots.
