I was planning on buying an iPad to read my kindle books, why it would be a weird use case? I have some awesome medical books in color and I don't like the kindle is only black and white.

Durability of the kindle low 🤣 I have a kindle that has been used a lot for 11 years and it is only starting to have battery problems now. Ipad is ideal for manuals and magazines only.👍
I'm thinking of buying a Kindle, but how about eye strain? Are they easier on the eyes when reading for long periods? I find looking at a laptop screen for long periods, like for example, watching an hour to two hour video causes my eyes to ache.
Reading a physical book is my preferred way of reading. Even though i read ebooks aswell. But after purchasing many books that even Amazon has removed from my kindle due to lack of rights, i've ended up never ever buying a ebook again. When i have them physically, i own them and no seller can steal them from me.
Actually, there is like, no reason to buy an Oasis nowadays because the paperwhite is now waterproof.

As someone who works on a computer all day, I have to say that the biggest benefit to physical books is that it gives my eyes a break from screens. After 8 hours in front of screen, I don't want to stare at another one when I'm relaxing.
Procrastinating and not starting one as soon as I was eligible was not the best move. It's really not that hard to open an account and manage yourself. And you can also have your brokerage manage it for you. If you're reading this, start now.
There's just something about the physical books that feels so good. I feel so much better and the information seems to stick better after reading from physical paper weather it's a fiction book or my med school books. It can never be the same as reading on a device
If you want it for study .Then don't compromise with books. Other option is only for informal reading.
