I wish you could’ve explained the difference between orchestra model guitars and regular size guitars. What is the difference?
non cutaway way better
I had already fender cd60ce, cutaway guitar, lighter sound. But I'm looking for clean, solid sound that best suit for my voice, so I'll take the dreadnought (non cutaway) guitar.
The non cutaway sounds more deep and a bit larger. The cutaway is a bit brighter but i prefere having that cut because of high notes

Does the type of cutaway change the sound of a guitar?
Although the non cutaway ha more room and airy tone to it, for practical purpose, I prefer the cutaway
I *hugely* prefer the cutaway tonally! I really like the softer, brighter tone the cutaway gives. If it's a taylor, that makes it even brighter which is what I love in acoustics.
Looks like the non cutaway has a fuller and more complete sound. Plus, more lows of course. I've always been a fan of cutaways tho. And never felt like I missed on anything. A lot depends not on the presence of lows but on the quality of them, I guess.
Cutaways have a little less mid projection, it makes the highs seem clearer. There is also a bit less top area for bass reproduction so it seems less full. Both of those things make it an excellent choice for plugging into amplification. Less prone to feedback, and let vocals stand out. If you use the non-cut live the engineer will just cut the mids and put a rumble filter on you to cut the lows under 80hz anyway so that fullness would be moot. The non-cut might be the better choice for strictly acoustic play or recording
Can you compare a dreadnaught against something like a mini jumbo/NEX body with cutaway?
I have two Guilds _both 12 strings, the difference in sound is mainly in the wood and finish.I've played both straight and amplified. My cutaway is in the sunburst model, and my standard is in natural. The natural does have a brighter sound.

All these comments are invalid, because 1. Your listening on your phone or computer. 2. Tuning can affect the sound, one can be slightly off than the other 3. Strings. What strings is he using, and are they both the same? Both brand new? 4. Mic placement can also affect what your hearing 5. One set of ears hear different from someone else's.
I don't mind either. Just as long as it's a dreadnought.

100 percent don’t buy that for a beginner Ibanez Yamaha and fender make great beginner guitars good enough that guys that play really expensive guitars when we play what we consider are beginner guitars are actually impressed I played a beginner Ibanez the other day that thing played like butter and playability is the most important for a beginner then work up to a guitar that has better tone later but the ones I listed their beginner guitars don’t sound amazing but they don’t sound bad either

I have a guitar like this and by the look of this, it looks and sounds like “Kapok” brand guitarwhich was the guitar tht I started playing on for my first few yes it was a terrible guitar another tht he said abt the accent being high is cuz.there’s no damn truss rod .which is wht damages the situation more so yeah if I had a kid who wants to learn how to play the guitar, I’m sure as hell i ain’t getting him this one

The one nice thing is that the neck is not too wide like most classical guitars. I wonder what would have happened if you had changed the strings to nylon before tuning.
