I did my b.tech from PEC it is better than near by Nits for CS and ECE only and worst for civil and mechanical. Faculty is one of worst for civil not even a single teacher is helpful and you may even listen abusive language from them

I did my graduation from this college. Dropped out of Mtech from this college too. So i know how's the teaching environment here. If u are from ECE and getting VLSI then don't think of joining here. Because this year placement is almost zero. Many got PhD in IITs and only two students got job through internship in NXP. Teachers from the ece department discourage students in joining internship. They pressurize students for publishing thesis at any cost .Classes are not at all worthy. Only two or three teachers are upto the mark and good. Rest are just here to waste your time and harass you only.I can remember vividly where one teacher who was teaching digital in the VLSI department skipped VHDL part entirely. He didn't teach it at all.If you think of simultaneously preparing for gate then u won't get that much time.Labs are just bullshit. In 1st sem students work on bjt amplifier on bread boards and 555 timers which is nowhere related to vlsi fundamentals.Think before u take admission here.

1. NIT Allahabad does not have a decent placement in MTech2. NIT Allahabad also have busy curriculum so preparation for competitive exams is also not possible.Same things you said for IIEST Shibpur.So then suggest any good college for MTech with good placement and/or lenient syllabus.
