Dave or anyone else, I just bought a ZEPHYRUS g14 mainly for gaming. But I find that the screen is too small. I don’t want to purchase a monitor just yet. I just saw a Strix g17 with the exact same specs with better gpu wattage for the same price. Should I return the z g14 and get strix g17?

I bought myself such a laptop for 90 thousand and in the first few days I took it to the service. At first, the fingerprint scanner did not work. Then the keyboard backlight stopped burning and I wore it two more times due to the spontaneous switching on of the fans at maximum power. It was never eliminated by the way. This is not to mention the illumination of the screen at the bottom of it. So I don't recommend it for this money. The servicers are not competent and also scratched the new laptop and spread their hands.

What about actually reviewing the brand and the product? Check ASUS track record for refunds and returns and stop being another biased and fake reviewer. Just returned my amazing G14 that lasted 3 weeks (I was counting on it to break in 4 weeks and couldn't even reach that point).

This is misleading, you said the Anime Matrix is only available in the space grey variant, but I assure you that it is avaible on both grey and white variants. While both grey and white are also available WITHOUT the Anime Matric, for a cheaper price. Kindly check everything before posting it online, especially with a big channel like yours, it can mislead a huge number of people

I previously made some awful comments after a bout of drinking and g14 struggling to play even 10 year old games . . . turned out I had a faulty machine and was refunded. Upgraded to g15 3070 and it's amazing. I was pretty bent out of shape because I'm poor and it took work to save up to buy with cash. I apologize for my rudeness, and am glad to own the G15, or a proper G14. My apologies to anyone who read my comments concerning an inanimate object. I also apologize to the inanimate object. My faulty G14 was sent to an isolated area in the North Pole where faulty toys go to die.

Currently typing on my G14, really please with the quality, luckily did not experience any QC issues. Only went with the base model, while I enjoyed the idea of the light up display on the front of the laptop, the price jump honestly just wasn't ideal in my eyes, but thankfully I have to say I have little to complain about. Well, save for the microphone having a small issue picking up input, but I did some troubleshooting and made it manageable.
So this one costs almost same as blade 14 with 3070 100W here in Germany.... Just finished review of Lenovo ThinkBook 16P G2 with 3060 60-75W and I will say that I am not impressed considering how much better 3070 is but I only tested Legion 5 one that is up to 130W soo will see how much better Blades 3070 100W one is compared to this 3060.... BUT 60W in a "gaming" laptop sounds silly especially when it cost so much while I paid 1.400€ for legion 5 with that 130W 3070. This review makes no sense mate ;)

Just a note, adding a 16GB stick of RAM for 24GB total (8+16) won't stop it running in dual channel, it just means that once it's using more than 16GB total RAM the memory bandwidth will bottleneck (whether this affects performance will depend entirely on what you're doing).
90% of the time is nothing but negative things, filled with mis-info, like it doesn't handle 24 gb on the second non-solidred slot, it takes 32 gb, for a total of 40 gb, what's insane is your harsh critizism of an awesome machine that you fail to fully recognize.

I bought this with a 1650/5800hs and I LOVE it. It’s just my daily work machine that can play occasional games, or doesn’t need to be balls to the wall because I have a good desktop rig at home where I play 99% of the time. The best part is the 1650 gets the cooling from the 3060, so in turbo mode overclocked it only hits like 35db of volume so it doesn’t sound like a damn jet engine but I can still play most games at med/high 1080p unless it’s something intense. Love it!!
I'd love to find a black one with a 3060, but at Best Buy they only have the grey and white which the mixed colors looks horrible to me. Just because of that I'm leaning on choosing a G15, fingerprint magnet and all.

Hi, please help.. I just got a Zephyrus g14 rtx 3050ti r7. Do u guys encounter screen black out for 1 sec when i plug it in via power charger or USB c.. I noticed mine black out for a second when it happens, and I find it very annoying. My retail shop tell me it happens for all g14.

It has one slot soldered ram so max 24gb can be updated not 32gb. Its screen is small so beware. Its expensive and if you are looking for performance at less cost then there are far better products than this one. It has no webcam It has around 15ms response time which is very poor for gaming It has no Ethernet ports
