I use these with a portable suitcase record player. They get their power from the turntable's USB port, and transmit sound from the 3.5mm headphone jack. That's how good these Z120s are, definitely an upgrade from the turntable's built in speakers. This also saves the use of more wall sockets. Suitcase record players are fairly small, and these speakers look just the right fit to accompany them.
