I have had the MX2 for a few years. Only had to replace it when I got careless. Great mouse! I am an IT pro now but also used it when I drew. I was an Architectural draftsperson and also did some 3D work.

There is something wrong with gesture buttons in the software for ms anywhere 2s It works fine for an hour or two but then u gotta restart a laptop to bring it back to work. Too bad.

Pretty pro mouse right here. But, the only issue I find is, with the inevitability to change scroll settings whenever pressing it. I use the button to close tabs in Google Chrome and use it in programs as well. Cannot give it up. It's a huge chunk of mouse usability.

Yup, i ordered one last week. I hope it actually continues to work after 1-2 years.
got it paired with a lap top as a bundle deal for +39$( imo at the price it prompted me to get it)its for mom( i will be calibrating and setting the profiles for her). I can compare it to my daily driver Logitech 700s. Nice review i cant wait to use it. Still for me IMO i need AA option(since i game with my daily if its mmo/moba/rts/aarpg) running 1000/500hz kills the battery quite fast vs my 125hz DD settings. And i can just pop in a new single AA eneloop from the charging pack. Every time my batteries get 10% or die. Still since she wont be a power user the charge on this mouse should be more than adequate.

A word of caution: for heavy users like me, who use the mouse pretty much all day long, the battery will have to be charged not every 2 months as advertised, but every 2 weeks. Literally.

Anywhere 2 mouse is worst the Anywhere 1!!! It has better design, much better wireless connection it is chargeable and some features But: 1. It is uncomfortable small (Smaller then Anywhere 1) 2. NO TRAVEL CASE !!!!!!! (Anywhere 1 has) 3. No closing lens cup (Anywhere 1 has a perfect lens cap working as a switch on/off button) 4. No option to store receiver in the mouse (Anywhere 1 has) 5. Wheel is too deep to turn it left/right
considering buying this mouse for my graphics designing work.
i dont know why but this will not connect to my work computer via bluetooth. it works with my otrher bluetooth devices, PC, macbook, even my android phone LOL. but the major downside is that the mouse does not have a compartment place to store the mini receiver, which is a major downside..... and for this price point it should really include a carrying bag....
