Can any of the keys be assigned the function of Windows key? Is that option even there because I notice that none of the keys on the keyboard have a windows symbol on it.
Play at 1.25x.
Your welcome
good review, I quickly realized as a gamer I want nothing to do with this keyboard.
Hi Salesberg,
Thanks for such a well-explained review.
I am trying to choose between Logitech Mx (Keys + master 3) and this MK850. My usage is mainly for coding. Unfortunately, the KB and Mice are not available in the display to try out at any of the stores here.
The things that are holding me back from purchasing Mx are
1. Hefty price tag.
2. A question in mind, that whether is it worth the hype (as there are several marketing gimmicks as well nowadays)
3. The bulky size (and weight) of Mx master.
4. Is MK850 good enough for my use case
So what are your thoughts on this which one shall I go for?
I really hate the feeling of pressing the keys on this keyboard. I think it's a downgrade from MK545.
Great review! can u comment the usage of this keyboard under dark room condition? due to the lacking of backlit feature
Good job. Keep going. Cheers.
Hi. Does this keyboard exist without the mouse?
Can we use mk850 for iPad as well?
Does this have membrane keys or some kind mechanical keys (scissor ) etc ?
Does it have the break button? It's usually above the page up button..i didnt noticed it.
Hi , can you confirm that if one has 2 unifield receivers , , the keyboard and mouse will work with both unified receivers and switch between the two by just pressing on the white key 1 2 3 ? I cannot find documentation any where about using the mk850 with 2 unified receivers at the same time. Thanks in advance
Thanks for the review! I just bought it today. The keys felt extremely sticky at first, but I can already feel them loosening up. The mouse is of course great. I used to have a Marathon mouse back in the day; this one is more comfortable and of course more versatile when it comes to connectivity.
What about palm-rest (wrist-rest), is it wearing off ? Is it colecting dirt ?
Brilliant review. Can you help me understand how did you configure this mouse with copy paste with wheel? and volume etc
'?
Does it have illumination on the keyboard sir?
does this keyboard have 2 recievers to plug into both computers?
How can you complain about the missing switch on the keyboard? It says that the average duration of batteries is 36 months!!! After that period, you better change the batteries anyway, or they could leak and to save $1 for batteries you risk ruining a $150 keyboard!
Great video. The on/off switch is on the right side of the keyboard
Did I just watch an upboxing? I thought he was doing a review.... That's why I watched this ! >
There is an on-off button on the right...
What is the product number of this keyboard? It seems that you can get those in different layouts and I am looking for a specific one (US INT'L with a large enter key). It should be printed on the back of the keyboard, something like 920-00xxxx. On Amazon you have one common photograph of the product for a different layouts so you will never know.
Can you PLEASE tell me how to change the battery on the mouse? Or if it's in the video, where? Thank you!
Hi guys, So my issue with a screenshot worked a few time using your instructions, now today it won't work at all. Any thoughts?
I have an Logitech - MK850 Performance how do I do a screenshot . Totaly lost
There is ON/Off button on right side of keyboard
how do you screen shot with this keyboard?
Hi there! I just recieved my MK850 and I am loving it, BUT: I can't seem to connect it via bluetooth with my PS4, and I really wanted to do just that :/ when I try to pair it with my PS4, it does recognize the name of the keyboard and when I click to connect, it says it doesn't support this device :( anyone managed to connect it perhaps?
So I love the keyboard from an ergonomic perspective but the normal functions are not available. Things like CTRL-ALT-Del, Shift Insert are the two that give me the most frustration. I connect my old Keyboard to the same unifying receiver and these keys sequences with no problem but with the 850 they WILL NOT work at all and I can't figure out how to make them work. The Options software is useless from a Keyboard perspective
You don't type a single key..
Great video! Can all 3 connections be via Bluetooth? I don't want to bother with the unifying receiver. I have a Windows 10 laptop, Macbook Air, and an iPhone. I assume the answer is yes, but wanted to check.
how do you use print screen wheres the button
Yes, there is an on/off switch on the keyboard and mouse.
For the record, plural for the noun mouse, is mice not mouces.
Hi guys, the on/off switch is on the side panel in the upper right hand side. I know it's small and hiding.
Morning, I have been trying to find the owner's/user's manual; does one exist?
It says that the start key is located on the bottom right-hand corner, I still don't see it!
PHURSTT!! Anyone had some old school Logitech's combo keyboards and mouse, like MK550? Remember those?
I am unable to get the volume keys to function on the key board, HELP!!!
Can you connect the keyboard and mouse to more than one unifying dongle (assuming you have extras laying around that you aren't using)? Also do they both switch together or independently when toggling between connected devices?
Hii. I was wondering if the bottom left row of the keyboard functions as follows, "Ctrl, Fn, Alt" or is it "Ctrl, Fn, Start, Alt". And if it's the latter can you change it?
Hey! I managed to connect the keyboard to my phone and computer, but do you know if it is possible to connect the mouse too?
What is the product number of this keyboard? It seems that you can get those in different layouts and I'am looking a specific one (US INT'L with large enter key). It should be printed on the back of the keyboard, something like 920-00xxxx.
How do I do screen shots? I was told use the fn & insert togther, it does not work! Any help would be helpfull.
boring. not helpful at all.
where is the print screen button ?
No "Prt Sc" button...
The keys look to be very low-profile. It seems like a laptop design. What are your thoughts on that? I have an old K350, the home-keys are worn out, but it's a great keyboard and pronounced. I absolutely hate all aspects of a notebook computer to include the keyboards on any notebook. That's my concern about this keyboard.
Ive used the k850 (mouse M720 included) for some time.
It has a good feel and works well, the wireless connection is very stable
Are there backlit keyboard?
I hate the fucking huge palm-rest... takes up too much space!!!

I see that you also reviewed the Logitech K785. How does the the keyboard of Logitech MK850 compare to the Logitech K780? I need to constantly switch between a PC and a laptop. I type a lot and very fast. On my current keyboard it happens quire frequently that the keyboard can not keep up with me. So the current keyboard registers the very close keystrokes sometime in opposite order. So which of the wireless multi-device two keyboards do you recommend? Or should I step up to the Logitech G613?
As for the mouse I currently use the Logitech MX Master. I customized extra buttons for copy, paste and close window. But it is quite annoying to have to rotate the mouse to switch between devices.
I have a K330 keyboard/mouse combo and I want to move to a flow solution to share the combo between a linux and a win10 machines. None has BT. Just one monitor (a computer via HDMI the other via DVI) Is it possible to share the combo via flow with a single monitor and USB dongles only, no BT? Thanks.
Does this work with PS4PRO?
Thanks for the review! As ridiculous as it sounds, I bought this and couldn't manage to get it to pair with my two machines through the Unifying receiver. The package has some crazy Ikea style instructions with it, but absolutely no mention of the existence of a power button. Toggling the power button, being the key step when you pair new devices to an existing receiver. Holy moly, I figured this keyboard didn't even have one. None on the front like the old solar ones and none on the back like some I've had. Your review is one of the few non-Logitech things on the K850. That you took the time to mention the power button is on the side (duh) is what helped me. Thanks! Surprisingly, Flow works pretty well between my mac and pc. I'm impressed for now.
When you change Bluetooth connection on keyboard does it change on the mouse too?
I have this keyboard and mouse. I think but I’m not a 100 percent sure that if you setup up Bluetooth pairing on this, you can not enter the bios on your computer. I think you have to use the unify dongle to access the bios. Mine used to work until I changed it to Bluetooth. I am going in to turn off Bluetooth when I get home from holiday.
Does this keyboard exist without the mouse?
Awesome Video. Good Review with lot of insights. Thank You
Hey Nikung, nice video. You may be one first Indian to review this combo. Can you please tell if keys are very soft , is it good for programmers(typing too much daily)?
Hi, I am currently using TVS gold. Very happy with it but have to switch to a wireless one as have to switch between office laptop and home desktop..
Is this one worth the price? No backlight, no mechanical switch and not a true ergonomic design.. but considering a Logitech product must be a good product.. what's your opinion considering the points I mentioned?
thank you for making this unboxing and review video .. I was looking for a good review video before going for MK850
hey Nikunj how is the quality of the keyboard and mouse? I have fairly large hands do you think this would be giving a nice ergonomics for longer durations of use? do you think this is having good ergonomics compared to mx master 3 (position of hand and ease of click)
