My webcam splits the image in half, any idea why?
Can this be mounted on a tripod? If so any recommendations?
I have had mine for a long time and its starting to play up. I cant move it once its off as it goes off. must be a loose wire. But what is better than this model now? I want a separate mice not included with web cam? Pls advise

I've got the same web camera Matt. I think I bought it a couple of years ago. When I had it on my other computer I seem to remember it came with some software that allowed you to add funny overlays from a bunch of templates that would actually tract with your face movement. I just bought a Logitec 920 for Christmas but I can't really tell a whole lot of difference in resolution over SKYPE. I would have thought LOGITEC would be marketing a 4K camera by now but I don't see any on the market yet.

Excellent video and voice over. You have lots of talent sir! Like the other comments, the Pro 9000 holds up fine if you still own one in the land of ZOOM webinars. Agree with Kness ng tip. Keep your disc and don't upgrade the driver! It has held it's value well. Why replace something when it still does the job?!
so I can appreciate it. is that, it is not built, a worthy successor to the pro 9000 webcam. this is superior in hardware quality. the image processor is superior on the c922, it could not be otherwise. but in equal resolution, the pro 9000 is higher.
The QC 9000 Pro looks sharper, but different colors. Also the 9000 does not hunt for focus. The 9000 lokks better in low light.

the thing with the Pro 9000 is when you update the Driver, it degrades the output quality of the camera. If you just stuck with and used the driver on the CD that came with the camera, it actually shoots better and is very comparable if not the same quality as with the Logitech C920. edit: I get the same exposure quality as seen with the C922 with my Pro 9000 . if you used the driver that came with your Pro 2000 (so do NOT update your Pro 2000 drivers) at 720p
Am I the only one thinking the Pro 9000 held it's weight REALLY well for a camera which is 8 years old? I remember using a Pro 9000 when I was stationed in Japan to Skype my family back in 2011 and I even bought a second one in January of 2012 (still have the Amazon receipt on my Amazon account.) I am actually sad I lost it in my many moves because this video just shows me how good it was and now that I am starting streaming again I spent $50 on a "modern" Logitech C615and honestly the 9000 was better. I did spend almost 3 times the amount back when it was new but you can still buy the 9000 new from retailers like Newegg and I would like to point out in 2012 I bought the cam for $121. New on Newegg and other retailers. It now goes for $150+. Yes you can find used on eBay for $20-40. But new 8 years after it came out it's more expensive now than then. I think that is the true testimony of how good that cam is.
That 9000 looks better. Brighter.

Zeiss is pronounced "z-i-s" with the 'i' as in iPod. The clearing of images at different range is called auto-focus. The Zeiss Optics are largely a gimmick as a non-Zeiss lens will perform just about the same on a webcam. Just FIY.

I wanted to get it for animation, but there is a kinda cheaper one, logitech portable webcam C905, its good but the logitech quickcam pro is a little better
@AtomicSeal well webcams are usually bad at taking snapshots when ur holding them because of image stabilization, just lay it on a flat service and make sure it doesnt move.
