Use a DisplayPort cable or a newer hdmi cable to use the full 144hz
How do you change the hz setting
the hdmi cable that comes with this monitor has lower input lag and feels smoother/snappier than a displayport. so unless you REALLY want freesync that bad, just use hdmi. also u need to set nvidia control panel to "no scaling - display" and the monitor to profile "FPS", aspect ratio at Original and contrast at 67 and reponse time at Fast for lower input lag and minimal ghosting, ive had this for 2 months and did many tests while consulting others from blurbuster that own this monitor

Just got mine yesterday, this monitor has terrible color banding. Been trying to look for fixes on this for hours to only find that it's probably just the monitor being lacking.
The colour banding on this monitor is absolutely horrific, sending it back immediately.

Love this monitor I've had mine about one year now. Only complaint is there is some ghosting effect on objects/colors on the "faster" setting. I use Fast to negate the ghosting issue.
