Dear Ranjit screen burn thing you should have discussed...OLED is top notch technology at the moment and no company's technology will match with OLED (by LG), not even Samsung's QLED, I am aware of this. Curious to know how big the issue of screen burning? In case if such scenarios appears how to solve those issues!

To anyone reading this considering QLED or OLED. Take it from someone who has the QLED, go with OLED. Just terrible. Even with a higher contrast it doesn't even matter. Worst purchase ever. I've had the QLED for over a year now and it gets worse with time.
Hi have heard few burn in issues and they have told me that every year, have to change the panel and as you display panel will be very expensive. Should I buy or go for another one

I bought this tv on Christmas eve 2020 before we went into our 6 to 8 week covid lock down uk .First day the tv kept freezing where the pointer that appears on the screen turned grey and inside it was a circle with a grey line through it . Leaving me with no control over the tv even the power button wouldn't work to turn it off . But the power button flashed every pressed so it was the tv . Only solution was to turn the tv off at the mains . This issue happened 5 times Christmas eve then constantly every day after .Boxing day while watching netflix it came up no Internet avilable. Checked the settings and my WiFi was saved with pin but it wouldn't connect to it showing full bars for signal aswell . Deleted the Internet then set it up again but nothing . Last resort was to run a cable directly from the router to the tv to get it working .Today while my kids watching Disney plus the sound went off on their tv show . I moved to netflix then amazon and no sound from anything including YouTube. Checked sound settings nothing helped . Resorted to power supply turn off again and that worked for a while to it happened yet again today .I tried every youtube solution so far , turn off enery saving mode , check software updates etc etc etc , and finally I factory reset the tv . Still having all the same issues.I've now contacted the seller " uk currys " and they are arranging a pick up and new tv because we are in lockdown . Ive now no faith in LG and decided to get the Sony bravia 55oled as a replacement.Don't know if this was a one off for me as ive not had any problems with the lg tv in my bedroom but I'm not prepared to have the same thing happen twice . My main concern is if all this happens within a week what will it be like in 6 months plus .I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced this as there are so many issues . Hopefully sony do a better job and I can hang this tv on the wall and let it do its job fotlr the next 5 years or so without problems like mentioned above .For anyone considering it isLG OLED55CX6LAPurchase at your own risk .Hopefully this saves someone the inconvenience ive had to deal with .

Does anyone actually like the motion remote? It's incredibly intrusive. If I nudge the remote by accident, it's on my screen. And it's so much slower to actually use it to control the interface. I not only second, but third and fourth the ability to turn this crappy thing OFF. CHRIST.

Has B&H learned as to whether LG has definitely issued firmware updates regarding the G-Sync problems; the addition of Freesync; and most importantly, whether changes have been made to the HDMI 2.1 technology on the C9; the 48 CX; and the OLED55/65 CX so that consumers wont be locked out of 12-bit games when the next-gen consoles begin developing them in 2021/22?
Would it be possible to run optical audio out from the LGCX to your receiver? Would that work?I'm in the same boat as you, no 4k receiver (and it'll be a while). However I have a kick ass 7.2 home theater setup that I actually would like to use of the optical workaround works.

This is the exact size and model I ended up buying. How close do you typically sit from yours? I'm afraid I should have went with the smaller 48" model but most people seem to say bigger is better.. but I do have a much smaller area.
