nice information, just a little tip by which we youtubers can improve our video quality one should not use their phone/dslr camera autofocus / auto iso/ auto apurture/ auto shutter its always better to keep settings on manual. so that we can get a proper idea of correct quality of the product specially while shooting tv, laptop, tubelight, bulb or any products those produce light thanks.

Hi! Good Review. I want a tv and I'm in a vortex watching video reviews and reading tons of specs. I hope you can help me. I'm worry about the clouding, bleeding, blooming issues. I know with backlight it's almost imposible not to have them at some point; but if they are, I wish isn't too important to distract you from the movie. Not very much concern about the very deep blacks (only OLED can do that). I doubt if stay with a much normal tv, or pay extra for a full array model. At first I was going with LG, but after some research I'm not sure. I read a lot of bad things about LG 9010 and tons of good things for the Sony XF9005. Are they so far? Is LG's las year SM9010 so bad? I watch a lot of series, films and old movies (black and white) and also basketball. But I'm not a gamer. I'm familiar with LG's WebOS and they are a bit cheaper; but Sony might have a better image quality all around. I'm not sure. Right now in Spain these are my options: LG 55'' UM7610 - 450€ (Direct LED) * Sony 55'' XG8096 - 550€ (Direct LED) LG 55'' SM 8200 - 576€ (Edge LED) LG 55'' SM 8600 - 608€ (Edge LED) Worth the extra 250€? Or clouding and bleeding are the same? Sony 55'' XG8596 - 699€ (Edge LED) * LG 55'' SM9010 - 739€ (IPS - FALD) (2019) * Sony 55'' XF9005 - 849€ (VA - FALD) What do you think? I haven’t got the tv yet but I think this will be a good fit for me. And out of a lot of tvs I’ve looked into this one is amazing for the price. I’m being completely honest when I say NO TV IS PERFECT! All TVs have strengths and weaknesses. So if you are looking to buy this one I would totally look into it!

Hello from Portugal, Nice review, Ok so i'm thinking to buy a new tv, and i'm undicided between this one, the Lg 49SM9000 and Sony's 49XG9005, obviously the price differences are huge when these two are on Promo sale, at least is 350$ of difference making the Sony's XG9005 more expensive, what i want to know is if the price difference is justifiable, if the Sony TV is much better than the LG NanoCell, both are Full Array and i see a lot of movies and tv Series at night so i want the better contrast and the better blacks between this too especially in a dark Room. And Also to Connect a Xbox One X o play games.
I would like to see some dark scene from movie with black bars and subtitles going. oh the bloom galore that would be.
My LG smart tv costing $ 1000 lasted only for 26 months. LG also cheats on warranty. Company which cheats on warranty it means that their products are not good.
