Hey Sarath I am planning to buy a 20 inch led monitor. Finally zeroed down to LG20M38H which has a HDMI port and LG2038D which has DVI port alongwith the regular VGA port. On the price point there is difference of Rs.250/- only with the HDMI one on the higher side. How does DVI compare with HDMI regarding resolution. Now kindly advise

The light source can be either CCFL (Tube) or LED (Usually a white LED). The Display is usually an LCD, of which there are several types such as TN, IPS, PLS etc. Generally when it is NOT mentioned it is TN. It is not IPS versus LED since even an LED Monitor is essentially an LCD monitor with LED backlight and the display can be TN (Usually not mentioned) or an IPS display.
