Chelsea,   I love you guys, but respectfully - I think you missed the most useful feature of a tilt lens.  These really are intended to take advantage of something called the scheimpflug effect.  If you shoot an image the has a flat plane and it is something really long, etc. (a gigh rise building, railroad tracks, a highway, etc)   Tilting the lens so that an imaginary line through the center plane of the lens intersects both the plane of the sensor and the plane of the subject - will give you proper focus from up close to infinity without having to go to f32 or more.   I used to shoot both 4x5 and 8x10 view cameras.  The tilt back and tilt lens board allowed you to control this with great accuracy.  Back in the day, I shot Nikon F2's.  They made a tilt 35mm lens that also had a rising front - it gave near 4x5 control on a 35mm.  It this doesn't make sense - google "scheimpflug effect camera"  Here is a diagram of the way the planes need to align.

Tony or Chelsea is there any tutorial or video with the Spark on a cropped sensor camera? I have been checking around and don't get a lot of info nor do I find a lot of pics. I am looking hard at this lens and I use a Nikon D7100. Thanks for whatever info you can provide.

One more tip to keep in mind is to be careful of how far you tilt. At extreme angles it can vignette a lot especially on full frame. You can see this at 3:04. I have the composer pro sweet 35 and it vignettes a lot on full-frame which is too bad because the best blur is at extreme angles where you get the most vignetting.
Interested in the Lensbaby Spark 2.0 Sweet 50. With arthritic fingers and the need to use both hands to control the focus, how am I going to be able to get to the shutter release? Maybe a 10-second delay?
I'm getting the 2.0 for Christmas and I cannot wait to start shooting!

This lens also saves you a lot of fine editing in postproduction and makes that process quicker so that you can focus on other parts of the movie as well. And it can give you the illusion that some one is drunk too. Spark is available on Amazon at least in the UK

I have never really grasped all the fine points of photography like F stops and millimeters, but I like to watch well crafted shows! Christian knows his stuff and tosses in enough humor to make it fun to watch. I enjoy these and hope someday to participate in one if we are ever allowed to go outside again.
