I love shooting fisheye, and may try this lens as well. Concerned that the aps-c crop does not show full circle at all sides.  My fisheye shots:   it isn't reducing the field of view on a crop sensor camera you are loosing parts of the image. If you have a full frame camera shot with a higher resolution cropping up would get you the same potential image with the cut off edges and still retain the higher resolution. 
seems kind of fishy. 
I own this lens and use it, sparingly, at weddings. It gives a totally different perspective than we are accustomed to. I really like it. My only hesitation is the aperture ring moves too easily and even with the lightest touch the apertures change.

Hi Chris Im a bit confused in the early part of the video you showed that you get a full circular image on the APS-C sensor but later on it seemed to be cropped top and bottom on the stills you were reviewing for quality. Do you get full frame? id like to use it for panoramic images taking just 3 images to capture the full 360 and blending these together?

As always, great review Chris! There is one thing I think is worth mentioning: I had one for a brief period of time until I realized that when focusing, the front element would unscrew, causing noticeable play. Unfortunately this caused it to sag a bit, resulting in the image circle to get cropped on my APS-C. Maybe I was unlucky and got a bad copy but were it not for this, I wouldn't have returned it.

What an interesting lens! I wonder, how small can the focal length be before a wide angle lens becomes a fish eye lens? Also, what's the smallest the focal length can go? Could you have a 1mm lens for example?

It would probably amuse me for about an hour, then spend the rest of it's life in a cupboard. I can't really see a practical use for this lens.
