Although I've worked with Windows and PC's for years, I made it a personal goal to stay away from laptops in general. That said, when looking into this laptop or a friend, I was shocked to find laptops can be of varying spec dependent on the retailer and from my experience Curry's / PC World is one of the worst offenders when it comes to using cheap components in their stock. There are some horror stories on Amazon reviews for this laptop.
