i have the same laptop but mine is very noisy. when i have 6-8 tabs open in chrome and 2-3 pdf files open the fun gets noisy. temperature get around 50-55oC. does your laptop make that noise by the fan?
the battery life doesn't seem well..i hab recently bought this device and sometime when the battery life is showing 50 percent it gradually reduces to 6 percent

man, have you try the microphone?my friend just got this laptop but she has issue with the mic, its too low. but when she volumes up the setting and set 20dB boost the only thing that can heard only noisy sound. how about you?
