U are wrong. U can install msata ssd(not regular m.2 ssd) in this laptop. There is a seperate port for that

Sorry, but it has backlight as on spacebar there is a symbol of lenovo backlight. I also don't know properly but this is as per my knowledge. You can use fn+space to turn backlight
