Lenovo Ideapad 310
Lenevo Thinkpad L430 ki battery price or uski life kitni hours ki hai.
Sir Lenovo V3010 cahiye mujhe
Where is g500?
sir muje lenovo g50-30 ki battery purchase krni hai kaha se mile gi
friends, l had lenovo l3000 g530.
i opened the battery. and there were only 4 18650 batteries...
is it possible?
Philips made world's highest capacity 18650 cells of 5400Mah.
Is it okay to replace original cells with these philips has made?
And do 4 cell thinkpad batteries have 18650 cells or different cells?
Because i found out that 6cell batteries do have round bumps on them, 4cell batteries doesnt have those bumps, does it mean that 4 cell batteries use completely different cells?
Looks like fake lat the end
This is great..but from a cost perspective, does it cost almost the same as a brand new thinkpad battery?
Appreciate Video! Excuse me for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Lammywalness Trendy Trade Guide (search on google)? It is a smashing one off guide for learning how to recondition batteries at home minus the normal expense. I've heard some great things about it and my close friend Aubrey finally got astronomical success with it.
how to rebuild battery
1. log onto the internet
2. order a rebuilt battery
3. there's no step 3.... there's no step 3! [chuckling]
seriously though i appreciate what you're trying to do here but is this worth all the time and effort (and risk) versus just buying a rebuilt pack from a trusted supplier that has a warranty?
Did you make a bridge for the battery and don't show as?! Because I ruined 3 battery when I disconnected the cell !
What is sell price
What is sell price
As it has been pointed out by multiple people here, the video is fake. In genuine Lenovo batteries (like the one in the video) the BMS gets locked as soon as you disconnect the cells from it, and I yet to see a way of reviving a locked BMS somehow. I wish the video creator had the balls to come back, acknowledge his mistake, and admit that he is faking his results in this clip.
pretty machine !!!
Thank you so much for the video! I have a Thinkpad T520. I bought these batteries and replaced them. It had to be fully discharged and recharged 10 times before the laptop properly displayed the battery charge. I installed a "Battery Care" program which indicates that: Designed Capcity: 56160mWh, Total Capacity: 61890mWh, Wear Level: 0.00%, Current Battery Capacity: 100%, Battery Remaining Time: 5h33. It was very good, much cheaper than buying the original battery! Thanks again! :-)
How much backup gain by these cells
rookie mistake putting larger cap cells , the larger the cap the less instant power they can deliver, usually the larger cap cells are used for things that consume small amounts of power for a long time, but laptops are the opposite, they consume alot of power in a short period, just hours, especially if the cpu is an old model and especially if the laptop also has a dedicated gpu. thats why when shopping for the cells you must check not only cap but also discharge current, sometimes it is named CDR, the larger the cap usually the smaller the CDR, and viceversa, the smaller 2600mAh cells have iarger CDR, which for laptops is best.
... and with the magic of editing, the 55+ battery got changed into a 70+ battery. This is a fake video.
Does it cause a problem if the replacemenet battery has different voltage(more)?
Can you tell me how to fix lenovo t410 that doesnt turn on?
heres a quick "how to" for re-celling and modifying laptop batteries for anyone who didn't quite understand the video
1> pry the battery apart in the least destructive manner you can (try to get a pry tool into the seam between the 2 halves of the shell and use it as a lever to pry the shell apart, cracking and breaking sounds are normal as they are held together with clips, stay away from the connector, if you damage the BMS, the battery is ruined)
2> connect a set of bridging cells to the BMS tabs in parallel with the old cells (all 4 wires must be connected)
3> once the bridge cells are connected, remove the old cells (cut between the old cells and the bridging wires, you may need to use a pry tool to get the cells out of the shell, a lot of companies tend to glue them in)
4> connect the new cells to the BMS (make sure to connect all 4 wires, and tape the thermal sensor to the same part of the cell that it was originally measuring)
5> once the new cells are properly connected, remove the bridging wires
6> reassemble the battery pack then run it through a few full charge/discharge cycles to calibrate it
1> go to the power plan settings and set the critical battery level to 3% and critical battery action to shut down
2> leave the computer on until it completely shuts down (shut down not hibernate)
3> as soon as it finishes shutting down, plug it in and turn it back on (do not unplug it until it reaches 100%)
4> repeat 2-4 times (number of calibration cycles needed depends on the model of laptop)
\> during calibration, the battery meter will appear to be "stuck" at around 99% when charging or around 4% while discharging, this is normal and is because the battery meter is confused as to how much energy is left in the battery, after a few cycles it should start to "learn" how much energy is in the new battery configuration
\> not every battery can be modified/re-celled with higher capacity cells (if a battery cannot be calibrated, it will still work and you will still get the full runtime of the new cells, but the battery meter will always freeze during charge and discharge until the energy is fully depleted, effectively you wont have a battery meter)
\> i find that el-cheapo chinesium knock off batteries are a little bit more forgiving of mistakes than genuine lenovo batteries, EEPROM storage is far cheaper than the volatile memory that genuine lenovo batteries use to detect tampering (chinesium batteries usually dont have the "self destruct" feature that genuine batteries have, you can see this when you compare the BMS boards side by side, the knock off board is about half the size and still has all the same balancing systems as the genuine battery, my super battery is using the BMS board from a knock off chinesium battery)
\> (as far as i know) this is specific to the T400 series, the locking mechanism is IN THE BATTERY, NOT THE LAPTOP!!! if you cant reassemble the locking mechanism, or your modification does not allow you to reuse it (as did my modification) you will need to figure out your own way of keeping the battery inside the laptop (i used a small amount of hot glue, strong enough to hold the battery in, but weak enough that i can remove it when i find another way of keeping it in place later)
hope this helps
any other questions, just ask
on the rebuild battery he had some marker writing ,but at the final of the video he inserting another battery which seems a new one ....fake video ...obvius he fail too start the rebuild battery
Will this work for x220i lenovo?
