Funny watching this review after some years of owning the product myself, i havent been able to afford a gaming desktop so this have been used to game on as well. if your not too nippy about the graphics being maxed out, this maching will run both fallout 4 and witcher 3 without problems.
Fantastic laptop. I play Far Cry 2 at max settings. No throttle. Beware of the AMD Vega 10 version which throttles completely the GPU.

Just as a note, you can negate the fan noise a bit by in the power configuration setting the max cpu state to 98%. This appears to stop the fans ramping up and down so often and doesn't appear to affect performance while browsing the web or doing some productivity tasks. You will likely want to set it back to 100% for gaming however.
bought it with i5 8250U and love it. although as usual with lenovo, there is always something wrong with the drivers at some point

I believe the 8th Gen CPUs have some major difference in multiscore. It have been great if they launched it with the 8th gen CPU. DELL was able to to it with their xps 13 lineup. Is the trackpad windows precision trackpad BTW?
